I'd rather if current combat aircraft being streamlined to Su-30 and F/A-18 family aircraft. it would make no sense (yes i know, diversification policy) to have a small number of up to 4,5 totally different aircrafts for the hell of it.

We'd should look for MiG-29,F-5 and Hawk 208 replacement in one go, that is going for up to 36 fighter aircraft (not including the possible MiG-29 trade in, should the offer still stands).
afaik the russian is planning to upgrade our Migs to SMT standard and then sell it to either Bangladesh, Yemen or Peru. dunno if this is still the case |

QUOTE(kerolzarmyfanboy @ Feb 14 2015, 07:50 PM) they have changed from peasants to a rather professional army http://www.theguardian.com/world/2014/oct/...ig-planes-syriaand i though FARC is the best militant group ever for their uniform, weaponry, troops if ISIS started to commandeer fighter aircraft and navy ships after this, i'll be damned..... |

QUOTE(MilitaryMadness @ Feb 15 2015, 02:13 AM) The Saxon is designed from late 1970s, so not so strange it looks rather dated. Also it was never intended for frontline duties, just rear area armored personnel carrier and counter-insurgency duties. Sorta like a proto-MRAP. THIS is proto MRAPIt spent most of its career running COIN duties in Northern Ireland. ![]() British Army Saxon on patrol on the outskirts of Belfast, Northern Ireland |

my thoiught exactly. they both share the same design(both are heavily upgraded T-72), so the boys has little trouble migrating to one another
nothing wrong with PT-91 but since the poles is withdrawing them from front line service, there's no reason that they gonna continue the production line. now they ar concentrating on production of their rosomak instead problem is, Russia-EU relation isn't good right now |

QUOTE(trollboy @ Feb 15 2015, 04:46 PM) Why not we buy their pt-91m design and ask deftech to build it?? Pt-91m may not be that badass of a tank but its still quite useful in the jungles and could be our stepping stone for an armour industry it's economically unviable.Could be cheap since the poles dont want it anyway |
