you can make them to swim if you got the big water tank

hmm...i walk my girl daily...sometimes make her run a bit...

then during weekends...i will bring her either to 1u central park or DPC for a walk and to meet her furry friends...

her last outing is swimming at KKB waterfall and she is dead tired for 2 days...hahahaha

you bring your husky out for gathering more often lo...

May I know is this the shedding season? Mine shed more than usual. Normally I need to vacuum 2-3 times a day, but for past 1 week the vacuum never leave my side. I'm vacuuming like almost every 2 hours.

Normally my dog sleep with me but I can't take it anymore. Fur is everywhere including inside my mouth and nostril. So she kena halau and sleep outside with my other dog.

Is/are yours shedding alot lately too?

husky shed of their under coat twice a year (or more if too hot), which is also call blowing coat...

normally they will shed every 6months....you have to comb them daily to reduce the shed...bath them with luke warm water (not hot) can too help them to shed faster...but not ask you bath them weekly la..maybe few weeks once...if you have Furminator, comb them weekly...it helps alot

then about 2 months they might finish shedding...hahaha

yours is still puppy? husky will shed of their puppy fur when they are about 4mths+...after that you will miss her puppy fur forever...no more super soft fur tongue.gif

enjoy combing and vacuuming everyday...my girl also started to shed edi =.= ...my room will be cover with her fur...like snow...hahahahah...she still sleep with me though

add in 1 more thing...you can feed them supplement (my girl eat Vetri Science Vetri Coat) ...helps a bit too and also can maintain their nice fur

Thanks for the info. My gal is 8mth and I notice her fur is getting coarser. Like you said, it might be the last of her baby soft fur.

2 months???!!!! You mean I gotto put up with constant vacuuming for 2 months? Pengsan!(":stars:") I guest my vacuum is my new BFF fr now on.

I use to feed Vetri Coat but I found a cheaper but equally nutritious supplement.....Cod Liver Oil. Those that sold in supermarket or pharmacy for children. It work the same with a lot friendlier to my wallet!

2 months should be the max...unless you more hardworking...comb her more...use furminator weekly (not too often...will hurt their skin) ...then maybe 1mth+ can dump your BFF...hahahah

i know another supplement which is very good for their fur...but is Ark Natural tongue.gif expensive o...so i stick to vetri coat...also for the sake of my wallet tongue.gif

i major problem for my female husky...i've been potty train her for 2 weeks plus now and still she doesnt seems to learn anything..i follow all procedure and steps just like how i trained my lucaz....it took me 5 days for lucaz to poo/pee at toilet by himself...but im having a hard time training the female one....any advice is very much appreciated >.< ....

ps. theres one day she stepped on her own shit and run all over my house....it takes me nearly 2 hell hours to clean those shits XD notworthy.gif

I just lost my Husky today, he was knocked by a car. It was all my fault, I opened the auto gate and he charged out and he ran towards the main road. Usually he was leashed by a 5 meters chains and I released him at night. I was chasing him for about 5 minutes but he was too fast and I was just running with slipper. I was shouting like mad guy and keep waving to the incoming cars. But still he was knocked by the car and I couldn't cross the road. When I got there, he was like relief to see me and just mourn once like calling me. I carry him carefully and thank god my dad with his friend drove besides me and we rushed to the veterinary hospital. He was lying on my lap and breathing very weak. I saw blood on his mouth. After a few "cough" and he was no more breathing. I was crying and shouting in the car. When we finally reached the hospital at Jalan Tun Razak, the doctor certified he was gone due to internal bleeding.

My dog is very brave, he never groan or show any pain when I was hugging him on my lap, but only looking at me till he left. We will remember you always as part of our family. May you rest in peace. Missed you forever.
To my beloved husky - Gou Gou.

Just wanna ask you husky owners ahh. How much is it 1 have to spend monthly to keep a husky? I mean the food, healthcare, clealiness, electicity etc2?

Also does huskies need t be kept in aircon room? They are not suitable to be kept in hot places?

I do not own a dog but I very much like huskies. They are super beautiful.

Hi Zax...so sorry about what had happened to you and may Gou Gou run happily at the Rainbow Bridge...

my girl ran away once when my aunt accidentally open the autogate...but i caught her back after 15mins of crazy chasing...thank god she did not run to the main road...else i can't imagine what will happen...actually the more we chase them...the more they will run away from us...cause they thought we are "playing" with them...

that is why Husky always have to be on leash...since then...i always double lock my autogate with those motor chain whenever i release my girl to do her business in the car porch...

stay strong...Gou Gou won't wanna see you sad

Usually I only need to walk to follow him and after a while I can catch him. But this time he chose the main road and at the same time the guarded gate was open by the security. Then I started to worry and ran to chase him but he was really too fast, why did he want to cross the busy road?

For now I just hope my Gou Gou really really really is going to rest in peace... Hopes all the husky prays for him as well.
