Its two sides of a coin, after coating - its easier to clean and care for the car, wash is reduce to water and wipe only, and you can see droplets of water, which is easier to wipe also reduce watermark....but still it wont last for 5 years, mine last for max 3 years +....and now considering repaint...if you really care for your car by all means go for it...certainly not for the budget conscious...
