Hi all forum-er~ my new Honda Accord is coming out next week and i know that i am going to depend on this car for the next 10 year ~ so planning to take a very good care to it

Anyone come across Nano car coating? Which is the services that put a coating on your car exterior, tier, windows(or even interior) for below benefit:
Anti-Scratch
High gloss effect
Water repellent effect
UV protection

etc..Recently had found view brand like J Glaze, Coat your car, Optimum auto detailing..

Some have 1 year warranty or even 3 year warranty, any forum-er have experience this coating? How is it? What brand are you using?would like to know worth to do it or not as it is a long term coating.

I am not sure thise high end coating can withstand scratch or stone chips .it like more towards to protect the paint and endure the glossy looks for a long time.
I would prefer install those protection film espcially on front bumper and hood.

I did nano coating on my car too. It's easier to wipe and clean as mentioned above, it will be like water droplets if you splash water. Just wipe.

Your car will be looking shine all the time.

The shop said it will lasting for 5 years. I just coat my car for a year and counting.

According to the test done by wetshine, coatings don't do well in the rainy Malaysian weather because they are more prone to waterspotting compared to waxes/sealants. The conclusion is in the comments as the tester did not want to continue with the blog entry for coatings.
Waxes/sealants don't hold well/last long on coated surfaces so owners must wash/more often to get the waterspotting under control. Or just let leave the spots there and let the coating act as a sacrificial layer until it wears off.

Most of the time swirl and mar cause by wrong washing method. Can you maintain to wash yourself or send back to the coating shop? After coating, you need to follow the proper way to maintain it. Warranty may void if you fail to do so. Better clarify this. Another question is you willing to spend 3k++ for polish and coating? If your car get scratched and go for polish, meaning the coat is gone and re-coat is not cheap.
