Matex normally have poorer hiding than normal finishing paint. So any difference in the wall colour tone (especially previous paint job) will show up. The washability is poorer too so you cannot wipe the wall much or else the paint will scrub off. Mild wipe is ok but vigourous rubbing or scrubbing will wash out the paint. Also as other members mention before painting the whole room white makes the room space too 'clinical' and boring. Without some form of colour or pattern to break the monotony, the room aesthetics will not be pleasing. |
