Is it now a great time to buy a new iPod?

we all know that ipod's price has drop(although it is still very expensive),but i'm kinda affraid of Apple will launch a new ipod(true video ipod) very soon since the latest version of ipod is not a true video ipod...

i feel like the latest ipod is just like a transition period product for Apple,just a fight back strategy to Microsoft's Zune.

so what do you guys say?

what is the latest ipod model?
is it ipod video?
trying to get one before the end of the year...

if u want a true video ipod better wait until late year..maybe apple will announce the long wait model...iPhone, 7th gen iPod...but if u just want to listen to music just buy it with no regret....new nano rocks!!!

As for me if you could be patient and wait, just wait until the one that you expected came out. Maybe there will be new iPod in 5 or 6 months from now? If you could not be patient anymore, just go and grab one and never look back again, live happy with it

if the current models will fulfill your needs, then by all means, buy it. don't listen to rumours. rumours got things right as much as they got em wrong. if you think you won't be satisfied with the current product, wait. but remember that you're gonna be missing months of enjoyable experience with your iPod.

just get it, if u had longed for the ipod for quite sometime, now is the time as apple just updated their ipod line...

but if u would like to wait..all you gonna do is wait wait wait and..wait..
this is because apple is going to update their ipod line once or twice a year...how long you going to wait?

i agree with everyone here...if it suits ur purpose get it...if not you will just be waiting and waiting and waiting..for the model that is being predicted and eventually u will never get ur ipod....

Its the best time to get the IPOD now cos the price is low! u want to get the ipod as a music player, not video player. If you want video - go with the creative

only problem, how to replace the battery, have to pay them just to do it I think, I rather go with other brand

Be clear with your conscience.. U want media player, multi purpose gadget or u want iPod.. for iPod, now is a good time.. good luck..

Is it better to get ipod from bulk seller or from Official Apple shop?

Bulk Sales are cheaper than the regular retail outlet but the CONs is that you have to wait till the seller's target is met before he starts ordering and then only distributes out to the buyers when stock are recieved, so that will take some time maybe 1 month.

Also cheap if u get it from non apple specific sellers around low yat.. a lot cheaper, with the same warranty but if use card to pay they'll charge xtra la..
