there are two tunas that are usually available in the market.
One is albacore tuna(black tuna right?) and the other is the normal tuna that we get. White tuna I think.
Albacore tuna, afaik, is high in protein and also mercury. So it's only safe to eat 1/2 can of Albacore tuna a day. However, the cheaper tuna, white tuna, it's actually safe to consume up to 2 1/2 cans a day.
And if you're wondering the reliability of this information, it's given by the US Health guys...NDA or something ah they call it?
is okie to eat 1 can of tuna daily?
