Hi sifus,

I managed to go through my archive and found the letter for the policy. Its called Premier/Value Savers and it was under Mayban Life Assurance Berhad.

Aiya... akhirnya insurans jugak

First, that’s insurance with investment-linked feature. (should be, I can’t know everything)

Second, you probably have a lot to learn about investing in unit trust, getting insurance, etc. there are many on-going topics here, especially those pinned up there. Fixed Deposit, Amanah Saham (especially if you are bumi), fund investment (i.e. unit trust) and you can check out the Fundsupermart thread, insurance talk. Or read articles around… make sure applicable to Malaysia la.

Third, assessing your risk level is a good place to start. Many unit trust funds out there, of course, there are better fund managers and also not so good ones, relatively. Of course, LONG TERM… LIKE 3-5 years at least?
