Another reason is MHH stop import HM aircraft, so nothing new.
And now TaoBao HM aircraft is a price rise up, not worth it anymore. doh.gif

not just taobao... everywhere also the same. olympus has fallen... and before london falls, our ringgit has fallen. for every dollar we already have to pay an additional ringgit. so by simple calculation, you would be paying an additional RM80 for a $80 diecast. but hm's releases have been rather uninspiring.

anyway. on the civvie front, the air asia a322 "line" 9m-ahr has landed and the a333 9m-xaa "skycity" will be landing soon. merry christmas and happy holidays... biggrin.gif

dont know about you, but i feel like the price is still okay for me

1/350 destroyer ship model = RM200+
1/700 battleship = RM130+
1/72 fighter aircraft = RM70-100
1/48 fighter aircraft = RM120+

i dont always buy kit, few months once and i buy another only after i finished building the current one unless there is some limited edition or super high discount sales la

Yak-38 with its trainer Yak-38U wub.gif

Now if I could only get Amodel 1/72 Yak-38M, that would be swell. 1 flying, 1 ready to VTOL/hovering, 1 in storage with wings folded (Amodel provide folded wings).

ya, the phoenix is nice... and i think jcw will be doing the diecast version. i'm hoping they do the expedia livery (9m-afg). will be picking up my skyliner city (9m-xaa) soon... hopefully.

let's spice up this thread with the inaugural tomcat by hobby master. i present you... vf-211 fighting checkmates:

an excellent effort by hobby master. it looks and feels exactly like a century wings model with minor additional details. they've addressed the wing sleeve issue that has plagued century wings tomcats from time immemorial, but the seam gap below the rio seat remains, as with the gap between the pallet and fuselage. even the century wings stand fits this model perfectly. one minor peeve is the use of gloss instead of matte finish for the detailing. does it make the more expensive century wings irrelevant? nope... century wings can still hold its own with regard to the crispness of its detailing (dunno how else to describe). overall an impressive first effort by hobby master but personally, hobby master cheapo stand is a major letdown. a sleek pseudo chrome stand to accompany this piece would've been nice. as it is, it feels like a bentley at chow kit road...
