Hi, guys. You see , i am still new in IT so now i have a problem that need you guys help. I have burned a dvd+r by using the software named Sonic. But that dvd can't play at the dvd player. So is it the format problem or other kinds of problem? Any idea ?

Thank you for posing any useful ideas or opinion or steps.

Most dvd player does not support dvd+r, you should use dvd-r instead.

I don't use Sonic, so assume this as just a blind suggestion and apply where necessary. Did you follow the proper structure for DVD? You have to have the AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS folders in the root of the DVD, and all the files go into the VIDEO_TS folder.

Also, you might need to disable multisession.

all the VOB and IFO files should be in video_ts folder in order to work.

As i always insist, go n get DVD-lab pro. It's the best DVD editing program which is more stable and easier than Nero Vision. Besides, it also comes with a very handy guide which every newbie will understand.

okok,
for me...Nero Vision Express is the best!
u can create Menu where i can burn 3 or more AVI TV Show into one single 4.7GB DVD Disc without fail but at average quality

if less than 3,the quality will be good..and Nero is the only software that have the "Menu" available.

Stick to DVD minus for playable in DVD Player....i have try Nero Vision 6 and Nero Vison 7....all ok expect that i like Nero 7 coz now got Animated Menu....

But in order to prevent out of sync problem with audio and video.......importantly u must remove the Nero Audio and Video codec..or something...

No use to convert vcd to dvd as the source (the vcd) is already bad quality video - unless you want to fit many vcd movies in a single DVD disc. I've stop buying VCD stuff though .... including my kids power ranger series - all must DVD.

i'm using convertxtodvd program. that's my first software for dvd conversion so i dunno about the rest.
