After using a Razer Deathadder for about 2 months, I must say I'm extremely satisfied with it.

First of all, it looks badass (note: it's a right-handed mouse)

The teflon feet is REALLY good - but do not use it on the eXactmat (Razer mousepad) it WILL ruin the teflon quickly, even if you are using the Speed (smoother) surface. It has ruined mine.

I got it in SG for $70, and the exactmat (which I highly discourage you guys from buying) $45. If you MUST get the exactmat - I agree, it looks damn nice biggrin.gif make sure you get R2 skates for your DeathAdder. They are effectively shoes for your teflon feet.

For me 1600DPI is good enough. I like the notion of a gaming mouse and yes, it does make a difference in your games, especially with the extra buttons that you can assign hotkeys to. They are also MUCH more precise than your regular RM49 mouse

All in all, the DA is a balance of good looks and quality. The others (Lachesis, Diamondback etc) are more pricey, and I think 4000DPI is an overkill.

Even on my 22" I can barely use more than half the sensitivity slider for my deathadder biggrin.gif mouse pointer on steroids! Or maybe I just suck.

with the 2 extra buttons on the side of my deathadder, and becoming over-reliant on them... i think it has become a necessity to me sad.gif
