More important to have the higher DPIs coz that will allow you to move your pointer across the screen in a short swing of ur wrist. I used the diamondback for only 2 days, when i switch back to normal optical ones, it was like taking ages to reach the other side of the screen. Never regret getting the gaming onces. Its also good for designing coz can most very very little steps and get the point that you want, especially in autocad and solidworks.

In my opinion, the Razer high precision mouse is really easy to use and it looks cool too. I like the optical ones, but yet to try the Laser units. I'll have to wait longer to afford the Copperhead, so that's y I bought the diamondback first. Mayb another 3 months I might get a new Copperhead. hehe
Then new DeathAdder is cool. Can't wait for it too.

For a budget of RM 120 and below, the MX518 is most suitable solution.
But, I'll recommend you to dig up another 30 bucks or 40 bucks to get the DiamondBack, then at least you'll get a good mouse for CS.

QUOTE(InLove @ Feb 23 2007, 04:26 PM) is mx518 still promotion now? promotion should have ended. Those shops which still got stocks might still sell to you at that promotion prices. Now it's back to RRP: @RM 139.00. To Aoshi_88: The budget includes other stuffs or just for ur mouse ? Coz RM 650 is kinda overkill for a mouse. If you can afford, get the latest DeathAdder. BTW, habu should have been available in Malaysia market. Supplier said it has been released here, but I've yet to see any1 noticing it. Any owners yet ? Mind to share some review ?
