hmm... gaming mouse or not...
jus a moderate one seems fine for me.

my A4Tech mouse seems to be durable enuf to suit all your preference.
its not a gaming mouse which cost a few hundred. but it has been running over my computer table for YEARS!!!!! about 5-6years++

although now it looks old 
but it still works like wonders

my 2cents... buy a branded mouse for a better guarantee for durability n longlivity of mouse usage n adequate performance.

gaming mouse seems to be for premium....
a moderate branded mouse which cost about rm50-rm70 seems good enuf.

jus dont go for those chicken brand mouse(rm20-rm40) but china brand with low quality plastics...
my fren once change his mouse once every month in a 4month period using those chicken brand mouse.

@qwertyuioped..its not lik more tahan or anythin..but it allow u to perform betta..its lik a tool for example havin a calculator..if u go exam wif a calculator and ur fren doesnt hav 1..mayb u r not able to do the questions but its a tool dat may help u do it..mayb u can do the questions u noe faster..havin a gaming mouse doesnt mean dat u can become vr gud overnight..its jus a better equipment to help u do dat..as Fatal1ty says..practise is stil the main tool that help u win..

some gaming mouse may not tahan as long compared to normal mouse..but some do..for me bad experience wif razer..haha..

I HATE CORDLESS! That's why now using the MX518 with cord. Previously using a Logitech cordless...always out of battery, charge battery, charge spare batteries...Zzzzz...no thanks.

Anyone want to buy my old Logitech MX cordless?? But gathered loads of dust already...ha-ha..

the big disappointment about A4-Tech product is the cable, so small and i hate it... my X7 already like "mahu" putus

what do u mean by logitech so so only?? depends on model as well just like the other brands lke a4tech, razer on how well u like to use it

yeah...MX 518 FTW!! maybe some may say it's bulky....but still the best mouse ever =D

izzit mx 518 is good in fps/strategy? if compare with a4tech xl-755k

eh, guys, which one better for claw grip gaming: razer boomslang or logitech g9? currently using deathadder but not comfy when gaming.. (especially playing high speed fps games like et wolfenstein) both almost got same price de...

eh about G9... i discovered a really annoying problem... comes from the grip... the grip seems loosen after couple of month... cannot tightly clamp the mouse ,so when moving the mouse wil feel spaces between mouse and the grip... (dunno how to explain clearer)

Neither. If you're a traditional claw grip player, you're best off with ambidextrous mice like Razer DB3G. Lachesis might be worth a try too, but it's quite similar to the Boomslang in the sense that it has quite a high profile so it might not fit your claw grip. The G9...well, read a few posts above mine to see the problems.

i have a nearly one year old logitech optical mouse (normal ps2 type which cost nearly 29 ringgit when i bought it ) is getting defective , it cannot work on some surface typically on smooth office table or computer lab table so wish to send back t o the shop that i buy from  but something strange is that the box stated  3 years limited warranty , however the receipt stated only 1 year warranty.

can any1 clear this up to me? thx ...

p/s i have checked the logitech about warranty but i cannot differentiate the term (warranty) & (limited warranty)       

also if one year... my purchased data is on november of 2007 ... wonder they shop can replace one for me

oh one more thing , the MX518  have the highest DPI of 1600 or 1800? cos i checked the official web stated 1800 but reviews etc only stated 1600 kinda confusing lol

Sometimes, with high DPI also made me pening. I always stick to 1600DPI. Only while playing FPS I will change the DPI to more higher

I'm using the A4Tech X-705F Gaming Mouse... So far it serves me well... The shape fits my palm perfectly... DPi change on the fly.. Although using optical and not laser... but its still good for gaming... But for hardcore gamers than I'm not so sure...
