IMO Kyoto 1 day not enough. Other than aquarium and/or USJ I rather go Kyoto than Osaka.

For me, disneysea is better for adults than disneyland (the other way around for kids). Whether you wanna spend two days and visit two parks depends on how big of a theme park fan you are lo.

My first trip in Tokyo was August. It's humid hot. Don't forget, in Malaysia even tho also hot, 90% of the time you're in air con bus or car or train, or air-con office or shopping mall, or at home with fan or air con. Probably not. That time just 1 month after merrid so no budget, not yet recover from wedding costs, so cari really cheap hotel. For the price, the hotel is good - except for the location which is a bit far from Osaka station (it's totally walkable in normal scenario, but for 1st day when you trying to find it while dragging big luggage ... not so pleasant).

This coming October my planned trip overall hotel costs about ~rm500/room/night on average (mostly skewed higher cos of the few nights I'm staying in ryokan/onsen).

The "Japanese Restaurant" in KL/Malaysia which bao ka liao serve all kind of Japanese cuisine hardly exists in Japan itself. In Japan each place specialize. Unagi shop only do unagi. Sushi shop only serve sushi. Ramen shop only serve ramen.
