if you can get it cheap in Japan, it is worth it. Rrp in Malaysia is not worth it.

Well cannot say no chance. I dont have perfect Japanese not even JLPT Level 1. My staff speak to me in English and when I go out to meet customers, I have them do translation for me.

I know a lot of foreigners here who cannot really speak good Japanese but have niche skills. I even know headhunter who cannot even speak Japanese but he looks after niche markets. Some companies like Rakuten have position that does no need Japanese. You can go to their homepage and look at the jobs available and some does not required Japanese. I know a few people working there as well who speaks very minimal Japanese. Finally get your company to transfer you to Japan.

So there is opportunity but of course not as much if you know Japanese.

Takayama  (would like to be there during the winter light up at Shirakawa - go. Not sure if it's going to be on Feb 6 or Feb 7)

back from japan yesterday...

itinerary is just a plan... if u travelling with 1 infant and 1 toddler... however, manage to cover 75% of targeted place to visit and manage to catch a few place with nice sakura flower blooming in nagoya, kyoto and tokyo...
can't wait for next trip already...

muslim travelling to japan won't have too much problem with food actually... unless u can't eat japanese food..

my regret is did not repeat my visit to muzashi sushi in kyoto.. nice place, friendly sushi chef, great food! and not too crowded..
