Because i extended my kitchen, so the new extension does not have any existing wiring. So have to put in new wiring for new sockets. Reconfigured the DB sorta.

The teka hob was below 2 k so meets the budget

Very sorry, i am also just want to buy new oven. First time to be exact. My question to all experts:

1. The new wall switch for oven only must be direct route from MCB right? and the CB must be at least 20A right? If I doesn't have one, then I must ask my wireman to reroute new one right?

2. Anyone have good experience with Fotile oven? I plan to buy one.

Please fell free to give your kind opinion. Appreciate them and thank you. biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

Direct from DB, cannot share with other appliances as it is only specifically for oven. Cannot also loop. Must be a new wiring, so your wireman has to lay a new wiring for oven.

Oven wiring must be at least min 4mm and above. As for switch amp power, check what is the amp power for the oven first.

You can calculate using the total amp for oven / 240V = xx Amp for switch

Thank you so much for the info S'aimer. Now I have clear view regarding this matter.
