today a lot of ppl at 1u maybankard centre. many redeeming aeon vouchers and I think the workers there also promoting aeon vouchers due to it being ever green. they should have plenty of stocks it seems.

5xTP still earns 1.25%.

slightly better than OCBC but ocbc is more widely accepted compared to amex.

Finally, i have redeem all  TP at 1U yesterday afternoon.
The q is long but they claimed they have enough Jusco voucher.
*
when i was there on saturday, the staffs where heavily promoting jusco voucher, saying it doesnt have expiry date. i guess u r right to say they have plenty in stock...

Hey TP experts, appreciate if you can help me with a couple of questions. I've got tons of TP to redeem, can I just walk into Harvey Norman and buy stuff using TP?

I understand I can do the same at some outlets in OU under the RCUBED programme, is the redemption rate worth it?
*
rcubed is slightly more expensive to redeem since 13000TP =RM50.

but u get to buy from some outlets not covered by MB voucher outlets.

What will happen to my unused Treat points after 1st of March should I choose not to redeem anything now? How does the TP inflation affect my existing points?
*
nothing will happen. just that you will need more points to redeem same item after that.

as mentioned on the first page, you cannot pay ringgit with amex via paypal
*

will vouchers like aeon be affected by GST? I'm thinking whether to buy next month or after April. if I buy after April, will I have to pay for GST? otherwise, I will buy with amex next month. not sure getting 5% rebate after gst is worth it anymore since the GST will be 6% sad.gif

Still worth something compare to other card where as you don't get cashback and the extra TP to go with it.
*
I have no doubt the card is good but I'm trying to strategize my purchase. either next month or after April.

I don't think there will be a 6% GST when we purchased the shopping vouchers. It will only be imposed when we use the vouchers to purchase items, else there will be double taxation.

Or am I missing something?
*
exactly my thought. still I want confirmation from ppl who have attended the GST course.

oh ya, he was talking about cash voucher. because recently i was very much bothered by this gst thingy as it's getting closer. i won't be able to use my mbb2amex to reload into my tng card on weekends and use the tng card to pay for my items on weekdays already, as it would cost me 6%+6%. sad.gif
*
that's the thing. are you sure reloading will be taxed?

not just tng, any card with reload option like starbucks. i heard it won't be taxed.

oh ya, you are right again. i know starbucks card and all won't be taxed. buy i have forgotten about tng card too (stupid me). the toll/other merchant will charge the 6% so reloading the credit to the card will not. lol... thanks for the reminder.
*
I just hope someone can confirm that shopping vouchers won't be taxed smile.gif
