Ioi mall. From my one and only Amex.
I asked the cashier, I have 21k points can I redemm 3 gift cards ? The cashier checked the promo guides and then processed the 3 gift cards for me.
I'm not sure other cashier will do the same.

The cashier doesn't seem to know the TnC. laugh.gif

If number is 20246688 be wary, i called maybank twice first time they say there is no record of this number in their system, and no calls were made.

Called second time, today now they tell me this number is their internal telemarketer but unable to see any records of a call to me. Funny also offering maybank2card platinum. said was pre approved and will deliver card to home in 14 days. irony they didnt ask for income tax , epf etc just said since my salary is via maybank no need any further documents.

I find it hard to believe but will wait and see.

Er.. I had my pre-approved cards the same way too back in 2011 when it was just introduced to the market. smile.gif

Maybe im being paranoid, i have been burned badly thru identity theft once. who remembers Southern Bank "direct Access". Took me 2 years and all the running around to clear my name from ctos , lawyers etc. In the end i still have to pay off the debt.

so i just want to be careful.

Actually if I were you due to bad encounter, I will just reject the offer and apply directly from the bank instead. smile.gif

I just did. 12500 for gst. The cs stated the same amount.

GST = Government Service Tax or Goods and Services Tax?
Hate the same confusing acronym. laugh.gif

I think the earlier post was referring to the latter. laugh.gif

QUOTE(Petre @ Apr 6 2015, 10:12 AM)
anyone can help regarding maybank credit card?

Minimum payment amount: A
Outstanding balance: B
Statement balance: C

have one balance transfer

question:

1-minimum payment is refer to A?
2-whats the difference between outstanding balance (B) and statement balance ©
3-where does balance transfer reflect? how do i know i have paid for the balance transfer?

thanks
*
Minimum payment - A: If you settle only A amount, you will be charged with compounded interest. High interest. Avoid this by all means.

Outstanding balance - B: Total amount you have spent so far, unbilled + statement balance.

Statement balance - C: Your statement balance. Pay this amount based on the due date. It is usually +20 days from the date your statement is generated.

Regarding your question, your Balance Transfer should reflect in B and C.

Most of us will go for C when it comes to make payment. smile.gif

Thx bro.

Another question..

Let say i buy Item B rm2000 using amex on saturday

5% from rm2000 = rm100

Cash back capped at rm50/month..how about the balance rm50? Is it carry foward to next month or forfeited?
*
Forfeited. smile.gif
In a way, it will not be calculated at all. Capped at RM 1,000. That's all.
You will only earn 5xTP from the total RM 2,000.
