Guys, anyone on Jumbo package can comment on the package please
Are the Astro Supersports channel good? Does it broadcast live EPL matches like Astro IPTV?? And compare to Astro IPTV is it worth the price or is it better to stick to Astro IPTV? Thanks in advance |

QUOTE(lukemanz @ May 18 2015, 02:45 PM) Jumbo pack come with Supersport 1 HD & Supersport 2 HD So far there is no restriction on both channel, meaning all live sport available on both channel will be available in HyppTV - EPL, Badminton, Sepak Takraw, French League Last night, able to watch Man U vs Arsenal in HD But Astro are clever, not all big EPL games will be aired on Supersport 1 & Supersport 2 QUOTE(macaiumno @ May 18 2015, 02:46 PM) better than astro for me since i watch laliga and astro sometimes delay the game. But u like bpl and hypptv very rare have bpl games. They will only show some but not all matches every week. QUOTE(macaiumno @ May 18 2015, 02:52 PM) better than astro since astro delay some games sometimes but the down thing is that hypptv no have f1 Thanks for the reply/review guys. I understand the situation now Basically this means Hypptv still lack quite some live sports coverage which is mostly aired in Astro Supersports 3&4 (not part of Hypptv...) To have the best live sports coverage legally without lag, there are no shortcuts but to either: 1) go for Astro IPTV Astro Superpack 4 - RM146.28 (Sports Bundle + some Movie & Chinese channels) 20Mbps broadband - RM209.88 Total per month - RM356.16/mth including GST 2) subscribe to Astro and broadband separately Astro Sports Pack - RM87.93 20Mbps Unifi current price - RM263.94 Total per month - RM351.87/mth including GST * if can get new 30Mbps package at RM210.94 cost will be cheaper (total RM298.87) but coverage is limited to selected areas in KL |

QUOTE(macaiumno @ May 19 2015, 12:37 PM) I'm currently using Maxshit fibre at JB house, TIME biz at JB office & Unifi at KL In terms of torrenting on private trackers, no problem at all with Maxshit fibre. Can leech 24x7 if through home connection, downloading from dedi also no problem The only hassle is it will automatically disconnect to change IP every day or so and there is no way to prevent this from happening.. QUOTE(Zi-Tech @ May 19 2015, 07:27 PM) just want to share my thought... Yes I agree that Malaysia is all about cronyism. But the same practice had also happened in the rest of the world Time is small coverage, mostly high rise housing with few landed properties.... but the price is much2 cheaper... plus they lay down their own infra with own cost... in the other hand, we got bloody money sucker so called Ti-em with gomen fund injection during fiber rollout and now cover more than 3 mil properties(what i read, maybe more or less) but the price still expensive and still wanna push people to have bundle plan with crap iptv(basically fta and crap channel-for free one la) me cannot brain after more than 7 years i believe unifi had been with us but still no pricing reduction, no new type of plan(maybe internet+phone only, until now, with 30/50mbps recently launch but not available all country) i believe now the already partially amortized their running cost and can give more to the people but yet still with spirit of capitalism and cronyism, still same as old time... just recently, the minister ask price reduction, but as always, not all plan price is going down but only one... basically we live in place where the capitalism and cronyism conquer the economy... i hope one day this situation might be change in the future.... TL:DR, Time please lease TM infra, TM, pleas revise all your pricing plan...give us cheaper internet like ur staff get....... Take North America for example, major telcos such as Rogers/Bell in Canada or Comcast in the States had also built their backhaul/dynasty over government regulated monopolies. Many of them actually laid the backhaul infra throughout the country with government grants Read this article: http://www.theuncableguys.ca/Who_really_pa...astructure.html So, TM is merely copying what other telcos had done in other places. But our government had taken one step further in eliminating/not allowing competition for TM in the wired sector, and as a result ensuring TM have the biggest/widest backhaul in our country. Other telcos will eventually have to lease bandwidth from TM or use TM gateway as a result. Price of bandwidth TM lease to competitors and also price to general consumers had also remained high Yes the above does not bring any benefit to the people. I'm not saying I agree nor do I like this But let's not forget, as a result of the above, TM has the best peering compared to other telcos. From my usage of 3 wired telcos, I find that Unifi give best download/upload speed to my dedi, compared to TIME & Maxshit. There shouldn't be any major difference if the usage is casual browsing/youtube though. Depending on usage but for heavy downloader I would still recommend Unifi over other telcos as-is-where-is And also recently TM started offering new 30Mbps & 50Mbps packages that is even cheaper than all the current packages. Although this a welcome move, but the coverage is only limited to landed properties in selected Klang Valley areas. And also more importantly TM did not state whether price adjustments will happen to existing packages and existing subscribers, which should be happening |
