My wiring men told me that i can directly put 2 cat 6 to join 2 different router directly from Unifi Modem , is it true ?

because i have 2 router one place at ground and 1st floor respectively , so he said can lay 2 cat 6 from the Unifi modem and connect to the 2 router .

sorry i'm not really expert on this.

Assume i have a Unifi Modem , Unifi Router and Xioam Router.

so i connect the fiber into my unifi modem at my living room. 1 cat6 cable from port 1 of the modem will connect to the unifi router , 2nd cat6 cable will connect from port 2 at my 2nd floor xiaomi router.

I though connection from modem to Unifi router already fix to certain point and vlans.. ,can i configure the same on 2nd xiaomi router as well ?

initially my design is connect Unifi modem and Unifi router first..and from Unifi router , it will provide WIFI coverage to xioami router as extended AP .
