After looking at the openwrt config from klseet, I've got a few questions:
http://klseet.com/index.php/205-openwrt/op...6-tl-wdr4300-v1

In the vlan switch settings- what it vlan id 1 supposed to be? Is it the trunk port where untagged ports will use the default vlanid of 1?
Why is port 2-5 (corresponding to LAN port 1-4) under vlan id 500 set to "off"? Shouldn't they be tagged?
Should the cpu port be tagged under vlan id 600 or set to "off" since the set top box does not need to communicate with the other ports and therefore doesn't need to 'go through the cpu'.
And shouldn't port 5 under vlan id 600 be tagged?

I think what they mean by port full is that the local junction box at the telephone pole is filled up and TM has to come over and add more connections. You could ask for your money back since they can't give you anything at the moment.
