I do hope that once the 30mbps is out of testing period, they will offer it together with IPTV and free calls.....for RM199 tongue.gif

Then reduce the pricing of 10 and 20mbps, not price 30mbps at 299 and 399 for 50mbps sweat.gif

The 50Mbps is tempting and I'm under coverage area for their trial.
But it's close to RM 300 lmao after you add GST.
*
you can take the RM210 package and then upgrade to 50mbps, which means RM263 for 50mbps, just that no dumbo jumbo package, who cares about hypptv anyway

Just gave TM a call. The poor upload speed is a bummer. 5Mbps for 30Mbps package and 10Mbps for 50Mbps package. On top of that, only for new applications. Existing users need to terminate and reapply in order to use it at the same residential address.

I think the old package 20Mbps Mega deal was much better.

The 30Mbps was priced at RM 169. After include the mandatory IPTV it becomes 210.94 after GST.

so I guess thats the catch~
for me need to wait till july b4 contract over, might get it as my area is covered!!

Well it really depends on your usage. I usually use it to upload and store files over cloud so it's pretty important.  smile.gif

yeah, since im using 10mbps now, getting a reduced upload rate is definitely not cool :/

remote streaming from my NAS is gonna suffer cry.gif

RT-AC68U mahal macam haram  sad.gif , i'm thinking with the budget of 300-400, if no other choice, then i'll go for RT-N66U
*
if really 300-400, then go for archer c7 or something. At least you will get wireless AC, and its a kinda ok router. Although I would prefer AC68U....as im currently using it tongue.gif

can get from this guy

n66 is very good choice.. but since your house relatively bigger than average, you need to know the most optimize place to put the router. I currently used ac68 but still i think my house layout better for n66.
*
from what i have read, n66u has way better range than the ac68u, but the ac87u brought back the awesome range the n66u had.

For example, I was able to connect to my wifi even when I wa outside my house gate with my silver unifi router but the ac68u router which is exactly at the same place the unifi router was, barely able to get internet at that same area, both 2.4 and 5ghz, though im not bothered by that laugh.gif

Agree with you 100mbps for home user is overkill...30mbps should be just fine. Wiating for Unifi to fully launch their 30 and 50mbps than will think to subscribe or not .

100mbps Maxis sadly in only available in Puchong area which has Maxis port...Places with Unifi port are unable to subscribe for Maxis 100mbps..

Good things about Maxis 100MB there is no capping for for peer 2 peer unlike other Maxis package 10,20 and 30mbps which has capping from 8pm -12am everday...
*
1oo mbps is not overkill bruce.gif

Attached Image

its just nice tongue.gif

sigh, when la malaysia wanna have speed like this...luckily my malaysia home upload speed 10mbps, or else I wouldnt be able to stream all my shows from my NAS without buffering...thats the only thing stopping me from upgrading to 30mbps sad.gif

30/5, 50/10...what sort of nonsense

Its upload speed really important in ur case?
*
yes, very important. Or else how to stream from my NAS.14tb array with 8tb already filled up, would be a waste if I cant stream at full quality, all the media I have saved there smile.gif
