hi,

I just get a promotion from VIP5 -> VIP 10 last week. so now i testing the speed and found out it is the same.

Now i try to test the speed directly via the modem (previously via the wireless) itself. Issue is, i cant connect it via the cable. i have tried LAN1 port and it is working, but my laptop show unidentified connection, hence, no connectivity at all.

then i tried LAN2->4, all port not giving me any signal at all.. as in no blinking light @ my laptop port....
LAN1 got the blinking.... others dont have.

what can i do? coz i cant even connect directly to the modem.

the Wireless modem is connecting to the LAN1... funny... why cant my laptop?

using alcatel lucent i240g

alcatel lucent - For TM used only.. This should still be their internal network.

Wireless Modem - The one that's create the internet connection by login to TM network. So you need to use LAN port here except for port 4 which reserved for IPTV.

I exchanged free dect phone for 3rd times, still the same issue!!

Anyone have this issue?

Well, if not off how long it's take for battery to become 1 bar? I think dect phone is design for pickup, answer and put back to base. It's not like the handphone. Try used the phone normally and see whether it's affected normal working condition.

download is more important than upload for most users.

but if your streamer like me, dropping from 10mbps upload is kinda sucky  sad.gif  already 10mbps i can barely stream 1080p content, that most of the time it's better to just stream 720p. but half of the issue also due to my older ivy bridge pc rig which doesn't transcode as fast as the newer pc rigs  hmm.gif

i just wonder though how much is 30mbps dl 5mbps upload ?

you stream to where? 1080p need around 5-7mbps i guess.. that's what i measure when watching netflix.

"UniFi also allows customers to maintain their existing TM Phone number with NO additional fee."

But the "Click here for more information." link is not working so that's why I'm not sure.
