Anyone else using unifi / streamyx getting 1.x.x.x ip range?
My router rebooted just now due to blackout and to my surprise its not the usual 175.x, 60.x, 210.x, etc ip range.
The 1.(9?).x.x IP range is usually used for TM's CDN for Youtube, Google, Steam etc.. Thanks for sharing with us, I didn't know TM started assigning that IP range to UniFi / Streamyx too. I have a feeling that TM is running out of IPv4 addresses. My router rebooted just now due to blackout and to my surprise its not the usual 175.x, 60.x, 210.x, etc ip range.

When I first subscribed to UniFi (HSBB as it was known back then) in 2009 (beta tester), TM had a special 110.159.x.x IP range exclusively for their HSBB users. That is the only IP range which used to have a hostname with 'hsbb' in it. Now it just says 'Telekom Malaysia'. After some time, TM ran out of the HSBB addresses and started assigning the 175.x.x.x series. Then the 210.195.x.x and 210.18x.x.x series. Lately, they also started assigning Streamyx addresses to UniFi like the 60.51.x.x, 115.x.x.x, 124.x.x.x, 203.x.x.x series.
