Not possible. I asked about this as I don't watch TV often. They replied the package must be bundled with Hypptv.Unifi Official TM UniFi High Speed Broadband Thread V20, ( -_・) ︻デ═一▸ Maxis & Time

QUOTE(christina1 @ Jul 11 2015, 03:14 PM) Ok still deciding which one to go for 30mbps or 50mbps.....Because I download a lot of Movies and Tv series from torrent which is around 20-30GB a day... If you are the anxious type of users who need to watch it tonight after adding torrent in the afternoon then 50Mbps. If you can wait until tomorrow, then save some money for the snacks and get 30Mbps. Although a RM 50 difference would not buy you very much snacks these days. |

QUOTE(christina1 @ Jul 11 2015, 03:18 PM) Right now just wait and see see. No hurry to go 50Mbps as 20Mbps is more than enough for me. I am the only person using this 20Mbps.4k..I don't have 4k TV or Monitor so .. |

Just called TM again on general line. The 50Mbps package is RM 249 and 30Mbps package at RM 199.
But downside is need to go TMPoint and upgrade. Cannot upgrade via phone call |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Jul 13 2015, 03:55 PM) Thanks for the information, I was thinking to call and ask to upgrade over the phone. Really depends on where you reside. If your area is not covered or supported, they will skip your name. That's what TM told me. Their system not yet upgraded to the latest package. I think all waiting for announcement.Looks like not possible. OK, I will wait till they call me. Speaking of which 15 July is coming soon. Any news of price reduction? |

Now the 50Mbps for RM 219 is a good deal. I will patiently wait until September.

QUOTE(christina1 @ Jul 14 2015, 10:03 PM) Got feedback from friend working with TM who use 30 & 50 mbps, really slow the download speed, better take VIP20 instead. My friend also upgraded to 50Mbps package. Seems not stable. Average speed about 20-30Mbps only. Will wait and see. He already file a complaint with TM about this. |

QUOTE(christina1 @ Jul 17 2015, 06:38 AM) Feedback from friend working in TM told me don't be greedy guys. 10MB and 20MB is enough for home users why u guys need 30 or 50MB ? Your friend is correct. He suggest just wait couple of months till TM comes with new promotion than upgrade if u guys wish to upgrade.. |

QUOTE(eternity4av @ Jul 18 2015, 02:51 PM) From what I heard from the TMPoint staff, with current VIP20 (RM229) price we would be able to get 50MBps in somewhere after Merdeka, I think they will eventually release it as my 2 years contract had just finished. That is true. I just spoke to a TM reseller and it appear that September is the launching date for internet packages without Hyptv bundle. Estimate price for 50Mbps is RM 219 excluding GST. But Maxis 20Mbps is tempting though, RM 178 if you are a Maxis OnePlan Subscriber. |

Funny how people are complaining about Streamyx 5 years ago about slow download speed and now people have too much speed to utilize and don't know what to do with it.
I think TM has improved in terms of quality and speed. Just the pricing now... |
