izzit possible the auto restart problem occurred due to viruses?

because last night my pc keep restarting continuesly right after the windows boot display.. and then i take off my hdd and put into my other pc as secondary hdd to scan for viruses.. "got 4 worms".. and put in back the hdd..

Then, the problem solved.. now i can switch on my pc without any error..

once again, izzit possible the auto restart / keep restarting problem occurred due to viruses?
