Hi guys..
I dont know where to ask this, then i came accross this thread.. and its awesome
ok guys this is an entry level pc :
E5700 processor
Gigabyte GA-41MT-ES2L MOBO
3 GB kingston general RAM
E2 510w PSU
9500GT
Windows 7
actually i just upgraded the mobo and processor plus the GC
but suddenly after finishing MW2 for the 3rd time the pc restarted itself
then when the booting process arriving at windows logo
it abruptly shutdown. Then i try to turn it on again it fails..
i have to shut the main power outlet for couple of minutes it
eventually turned on but after around 10mins.. it turn off again
i suspected the power suppy aint receive enough power to distribute
so i switch to single power outlet. not sharing with my other stuff..
still the problem presist.
Then i start disassembling the pc.. i take ram,gc swap it and even boot it with out
any HDD.. i even take out the CMOS battery to reset the bios..
YEAH it turn on.. but ater couple of minutes it shut it self again..
then the last thing i do is i swap the PSU itself with my older 400w psu..
then walla! like my ma's cooking.. it runs well until now..
Then i bring the PSU to Thundermatch JB for claiming..
the psu runs ok for couple of minutes, due lack of time
i ask em test run the PSU for a day..
The thing is.. what really happen..? i can run this pc with my OLD psu..
but i cant run it with E2..?
And if the test prove nothing is damaged on the PSU, what should i do..?
Is Gigabyte mobo sucks.. or i mean damaged?
Thanks guys for reading.. I'm really pening now.. so hopefully you guys
can blast me with some idea..?
