On second thought, it may be worth the import if you intend to get a headstart over everyone else, since JP D/P will trade with US D/P.

i don't think it's hard to get the starter cos u can trade it over wifi..

What he PROBABLY means is, because the starter pokemon from previous games only is a one-shot deal (pick one). So he may think that trainers may be reluctant to trade them over WiFi.

Which I don't think is a problem - After all, you can breed the starters and get multiples of them.

The only Pokemons that I think you will have problem finding online are the rare Event only Pokemon such as Mew, Celebi, Jirachi,Deoxys and Manaphy. Not to say that there won't be people trading them, but since these are only available through events and nothing else.

I know of that glitch. It depends whether is it worth the risk or not. I DO know that if it failed, the pokemon you tried to clone will be gone. I saw the thread at Serebii forums and I saw some people failed and lost their Pokemon from failing to do it correctly.

I never tried exploiting the glitch, and I don't think I will. Sorry, but I won't put my save file at risk, considering I have the Pokedex done at 380(if I got the 6 legends of Mew, Ho-Oh, Lugia, Celebi, Jirachi and Deoxys, I'm done with the Dex).

I stay in KL la nowadays I hardly touch my Emerald cart...maybe once in a while when im bored I go back and play lol.

And trading/battling is impossible. I sold off my GBA SP ady, so I'm using my DS to play now. And you can't do neither with the DS.

I said IF I could get them I would have the most "complete" Pokedex. But meh, without them, at 380 the game considers the National Pokedex as complete...well at least the GameFreak visitors who gave me a cert at Lilycove City said so lol...

I like trading, but I'm terrible at battling. I'm more of a Pokemon collector than a battler which is why I'm looking forward to WiFi trading in D/P...which reminds me, I got to go pick up the Nintendo WiFi USB Connector soon

Internal clock of course can be used in Ori Emerald. But eventually the battery for the ori cart will die so it will also eventually stop. But of course the battery will last way longer on the ori la ofc.

Phoenix_Cypher_K1, when u catch pokemon, do u see the nature of the pokemon?? i only like pokemon that have certain nature: adamant, modest, calm only..if i don't catch them, i will breed them til i got the nature that i like..lol

binfordun pokemon have nature since ruby and sapphire, i thought you play those games already? you suppose to know that. and i like jolly nature . especialy jolly jolteon , my all time favourite in my fire red game. 

i see pokemon emerald at klcc, but the price tag is RM200 . i ask that shopkeeper to lower the price a bit, he said is fix price

I'm not so sure myself because I'm not a Sceptile user. You could try something which gives +Atk - Spd...I think Sceptile has Agility to make up for it. I'd keep Sp Atk as neutral...

agility is nice in rusa, frlg and emerald. a lot of supportive move have improved from rby and gsc. last time i use to have pokemon full of attacking move only, but now if you go battle with other people like that, you are done for it.

i also give full of attacking move only. i never use any enhancing moves at all..bcos if i use it, then my pokemon will get hit 1st..

i use to think like that too, but i keep losing to other player at pokemon netbattle, so i ask them for advice and they tell me that i should use some supportive move if you want to win other player. if you just want to play ingame, then all atack move is enough, but if you want to win human, then you need something like ev training, iv training, selective pokemon, so on ans so forth
