If its revealed now, it is very likely this is fixed in the English release anyway so it doesn't really apply to us waiting....

This glitch seems interesting...its tempting to actually import since the Eng ver is most likely going to be fixed. Its even more tempting since you can link Jap and Eng D/P together...

I don't recall of there being better glitches in a later release lol.
I think they were fooling around with the glitch actually. But anyway, they can simply fix this glitch by not allowing you to surf on the door. Thats all they have to do. But I think it's too late for GameFreak/Nintendo to do anything to change it. Soon, WiFis will be infested with Darkrais and Sheimis...if you're lucky XD |

I have Cyndaquil, Chikorita, and Totodile (and their evos). I can trade to you provided you can find me a GBA and a link cable since I sold off mine.
The rest you should be able to find via Fire Red and Leaf Green....though you'll need more than one cart if you want Raikou, Entei and Suicune (play till capture, trade to another cart, then start new game etc) [And no, I don't have Ho-Oh and Lugia since I don't own a GC] This post has been edited by Phoenix_Cypher_K1: Oct 26 2006, 11:26 PM |

Well, seriously. I have Pokemon Emerald since the month it came out. If Mew and Deoxys were available without events, I would have already known about it.
Anyways, you can still get Mew and Deoxys from Wi-Fi...thanks to the cloning glitch in Emerald.... |

Er...you didn't know?
Well, there's this glitch in Emerald which allows you to clone your Pokemon (and any held items with it). This is done in the Battle Frontier, which means Ruby/Sapphire doesn't have it. Saw this on Serebii forums, should explain more : http://www.serebiiforums.com/showthread.php?t=134181 As for what I said, ANY pokemon can be cloned (as long as you have it). So, it will be no big deal when you go on WFC to trade Pokes and find a lot of these event rares.... It can mess up your Pokemon game (having the Pokemon you're trying to clone disappear is one thing that happens if you screw it up; worse case scenario your save game gets corrupted), so if you actually plan to do it, be careful. But its strange. Last time, it takes them up to a full week for the game to come. Lately the delay is like 2-3 days. Now, it comes out on the exact same day the game is launched. Increasingly fast lol...

Latest newsflash.
Don't get TOO HAPPY about Manaphy yet. http://www.serebiiforums.com/showpost.php?...1&postcount=206 Apparently the Manaphy mission is not available (well not straight away). The guy used a modified savefile that had the Manaphy mission so he thought he was there, but when he used a non-modified save, the mission did not show up. He did say he'll look for an alternative on whether is it possible to obtain it otherwise though. So, Mew, Celebi and Deoxys special mission is confirmed. But not the Manaphy one for now. QUOTE Additionally, it has recently been discovered that a hidden "Password Mode" can be unlocked by pressing L, R, A, X, Y, and left on the directional pad at the same time on the first Ranger Net screen.[4] The Password screen displays a keyboard with the lowercase and uppercase alphabet, as well as a number pad from zero through nine.[5] The exact function of this Password feature is unknown at this present moment, but it is speculated that the Password feature will give the player access to the Manaphy mission without having to go to an event. From Wikipedia. The forums in Serebii are also discussing this. Since the password screen is hidden as stated above, and the only thing left thats missing is the Manaphy mission, it's probably for it. Still the password is unknown, but eventually there could be one hacked out? |
