yea, they do are realli painful...but it's onli for 3 days i think
the 1st day is the most terrible sensation
where u dun feel ur ears any more....
for the 1st hour at least.....

lol

when you go pass 10mm or so you wouldn't even feel it stretch. thats if you let it heal for a month or so before stretching again.
fastest way to heal a stretched ear is to do vitamin E oil rubs.

wat gauge you're on now, for both your ear lobes?
*
not familiar with gauges la, around here they go by diameter one, so i not too sure about gauges.
if i were to guess mine would either be a 00 or a 0 gauge. 16mm diameter, left lobe. planning to get the other one done soon though tongue.gif

onli left lobe gauged? ur right lobe not been pierced and gauged?

16mm....i guess u shouldnt' go any larger, it's just nice

mine's 8mm on one side...the other's 6mm - was waitin' for a year, for the other to get pierced and gauged and heal b4 i stretch them both at the same time

where are you? u sound like u're in UK?

anyways, i saw a guy with a 16mm lobe somewat.....3 weeks ago i think, at zouk.....he was well....not the kind of look that i was looking for...i mean it's quite odd, cos' he only have his left lobe stretched to like 20mm i think, but where his right lobe's a virgin lobe
*
have not touch the right lobe. am planning to get both to 20 or so. afraid to get a new piercing, have been busy and always not enough rest.
my body really hates being pierced, my industrial on the left ear also F'ed cause of bump.
i'm from klang though, but basically does all my stuff at zoo. still havent found any place besides zoo that i can trust.

owh, and i saw a post about micro dermals. zoo is doing it, i am prolly the first guy in malaysia with a micro dermal implant on the face.

I've posted the design I wanted I think a page or two back. Last time when my mother did her tattoos in Sg Wang as well as KK they photocopied the design out, traced it and inked in (Ballpen ink) onto the skin before tattoo-ing... so I don't think it's THAT complex. I asked for approximately 2-2.5 inches as well, in black colour.

Maybe I'll ask in Sg Wang... but lazy to go aaaall the way down sweat.gif

thats prolly how EVERY tattoo artist gets their stencil over onto your body.
even a super complicated piece.
i am a guy against cheap tattoos, i always lecturer people when they wanna get cheap tattoos done.
you might think thats its cool now, but ink WILL smear, if done cheaply, will prolly fade as well.
so a good design is a must and do remember that you'll be having it for life, you dont wanna have a black patch of ink on your body when you're like 50 no?

sounds like u're prolly the guy at zouk i saw

*
i dont club much, only once in a blue moon when theres a reason to get drunk and have fun with friends.
highly doubt thats me in zouk that you saw.

anti eyebrows or also known as teardrops

Please don't misunderstand me. I'm NOT looking for a cheap tattoo... but come on- RM 300+ is considered very expensive for me, even though my parents are the ones paying. My mother has her tattoos done for, at maximum, RM 250 the most at Sg Wang. Her tattoos are still fine and nice, I think her first tattoo is about 5 years now, and they're mostly intricate Sanskrit characters (Done in black ink though)- more complex than mine, and some are custom designs. And guess who is the person advising her throughout about tattooing and stuff? Me.

I've also been asking around about the reputation of the tattoo artists in Dragonfly, but thus far no one has directly given me a satisfactory answer. Same with recommendations for tattoo parlours/artists. I live in PJ, and travelling down to Sg Wang is too cumbersome for me at the moment with University and all.

seriouly asking here, how much do you know about tattoos to be giving advise to someone? note that im not bashing you. i just wanna say that only tattoo artist or people who are in that business would be best to advise as they themself know best. i really couldn't see why someone who is only studying right now could fork out money for expensive mobile phones/laptops/digital cams and drives a car priced close to 100k could not afford a tattoo more then 300+.

i just checked your post on the design you wanted, that will seriously look shitty when shrink down to 2-3 inch. why you ask? you even noticed that its a back piece? shrinking it down, its even hard to draw. its easier if you could just print it out to the size you wan, and try tracing it from there. with bold lines, it'll seriously look like a black cube rather then lines when the ink starts to smear.

note that im not BASHING you, just seriously though. think about it. im not saying that you're cheap, just that this is something that will be on your body for the rest of your life, if you're really serious about getting a tattoo, get a good one.
