I did. But mine is traditional, pain is quite bearable.

Modern aka machine type is less painful unless yours have a lot of coloring and shading

I have mine on my lower back ... syok sakit for five hours. LOL but I heard the most painful part is the ribs.

About back tattooing, mine sakit all day coz of the needles (trad) is like 50cm long and the ahjarn took a sweet 2-3 hours to finish my palm size tattoo. BTW tattooing in thailand is free if your birthdate matches.

After tattoo, buy a baby lotion and apply it regularly to avoid itches. And if it itches, dun scratch!!! Never scratch!! Other than that, I'm not sure about seafood though. Coz I makan crab the next day and nothing happens

Careful in choosing tattoo artist though. You dun want your tattoo to turn out to be tanglung.
