Would Team Red diehards now claim Hardwarecanucks being biased now that they came up with review of the 980 Ti Superclocked ACX2.0+ with the end conclusion titled "Fury Who?" tongue.gif

http://www.hardwarecanucks.com/forum/hardw...-review-18.html

Inb4 "wait for Windows 10, wait for DX12" or completely dismissing him as biased. Team Red is running out of excuses already.

My point exactly! Next up they'll ask support AMD so that it wouldn't die out and leave Nvidia to monopolize and jack up prize. If AMD is going bankrupt doing it badly on their own, I'm not gonna buy their GPUs as a form of charity to keep them on last few breaths!

I tried to reason it there but the saltiness and the bitterness and the defensiveness against anything remotely critical mentioned about their beloved AMD is so pervasive that I'll leave them to live up to their own mistakes. Their own money anyway.

"The Ampersand"

CPU: Intel Core i7 "Devil's Canyon" 4790K 4.0Ghz Boost Clock 4.4GHz.
GPU: MSI Nvidia Geforce GTX 980 Ti 6GB
Mobo: MSI Z97I Gaming ACK
RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro 2x8GB 1866Mhz
PSU: Silverstone SFX 600W Gold
SSD: Samsung 850 Pro 256GB
HDD: Western Digital Black 8TB 7200rpm
Case: Silverstone Raven RVZ01 Slim HTPC
Cooler: Corsair H55 AIO Liquid Cooler
OS: Windows 8.1 OEM
Accessories: Microsoft All-in-one Wireless Media Keyboard, Minix Neo A2 Lite Wireless AirMouse/Remote/Keypad, Microsoft Wireless Xbox 360 Controller for controlling Kodi/XBMC, Plex and Steam Big Picture Mode wirelessly.
Display: Asus PQ321Q 4K60 Monitor, shifting to 4K60 4KTV 55" soon.

Liquid cooled CPU even in such small chassis. Temperature under load 45-55C for CPU and 55-70C for GPU.

Games benchmarks at 4K Very High/Ultra with AA off and V-Sync off:

Grand Theft Auto V: Minimum 27fps. Maximum 55fps. Average 36fps.
Crysis 3 Hunter Edition: Minimum 25fps Maximum 55fps. Average 35fps.
Call of Duty Advanced Warfare: Minimum 62fps. Maximum 89fps. Average 77fps.
Project CARS: Minimum 55fps. Maximum 60fps. Average 57fps.
Mortal Kombat X: Minimum 60fps. Maximum 60fps. Average 60fps.
Witcher 3 The Wild Hunt: Minimum 30fps. Maximum 42fps. Average 37fps.

All this in a chassis slightly bigger than an Xbox One or a PS4. A truly mostrous performance in a truly killer console-obliterating size.

Waiting for KLIAV starting this July 3rd for better 4KTV deals. Cheapest around I saw is LG 55" at RM3,8xx but riddled with complaints of poor contrasts. Next step up is Samsung non-curved SUHD at RM6,3xx.
