Bro

Why suddenly gone lowballer? doh.gif

I always thought you hardcore premium brands like asus gigabyte  4 example laugh.gif

He is yet to answer me if Zotac is as good as the premium brands lol. Maybe he needs more time to test them out first.

Anyway, ASUS non-reference cooler is still not released yet. I wonder ASUS DCUIII vs MSI with Corsair Hydro Cooler, which one will be better...

too expensive + over-rated. mark up too high but this time is DCU3 with 12+2 phase power sure OC like beast + free 1 yr XSplit.

asus implemented DCU3 mean DCU2 is not great if not y they waste time + effort released DCU3 or just gimmick hmm.gif

Isn't it RM3399? Is this RM500 more over Zotac AMP Extreme?
Well they have to keep innovating right (for the case of DCU3 and DCU2). I am waiting to see their review to see it is really gimmick or there is actual improvement.

take zotac 3+2 less hassle.. by the way still 980Ti rite? but this time asus DCU3 look nice with the fan blade gaps so close for better static pressure.

asus pcb + mosfet also improved a lot. the only i hate bout giga is that they got different rev pcb + brands memory. giga didn't change their windforce cooling & i didn't see they make a lot improvement like asus did this round.

like jayz said it cool the VRM well.. heard got coil whine but i think nowadays coil whine is common.
*
So in short, you would take Zotac over ASUS for 980Ti?

ya cos the price gap too huge. zotac amp more than enough. asus always over-priced.

Initially I was thinking just to get cheapest reference card, then upgrade the cooler to Corsair N980 (http://www.corsair.com/en/hydro-series-hg1...cooling-bracket). But then I thought it way void the warranty...

actually reference cooler is quite ok. for those who like running dual go for reference if single card better don't choose blower type but it depend how ur rig airflow. corsair one look good u can try let us know  brows.gif

2 yrs warranty  hmm.gif

Yeah but I saw review that reference cooler usually maxed at 80 to 90 Celsius.. I am running single card anyway.

Why don't you get a proper water block, a decent pump and a little reservoir instead?

Sure it's going to be a little more hassle than installing the N980, but that H100i pump it is using is notorious for failing and sounding like a turd after a few months of usage.
*
I don't really know how to do custom water cooling. For that N980, it is not limited just for H100i, other Corsair AIO should fit as well.

QUOTE(shikimori @ Jul 5 2015, 03:53 PM)
LOL , thanks brah for giving me an idea for my next project . I think instead of going for another 980ti I just suck it up and get this aio watercooling instead . Save the money for xb270hu that's going to cost a bomb if get from amazon T_T  RM 3625.82 (5-10 days shipping) not include gst and import tax die lol

My h100i doing great so far been using about a year . Idle at 34c and full load around 60c
*
Go go go... install already then let me know the results brows.gif
