guys thinking of getting a 960 strix by asus what u guys think of its performance i game on 1080p display only. Interested in its power efficiency. Pricewise its kinda xpensive might wait for lazada vouchers to get 1. saw some reviews asus unit can oc quite well

yup just ordered mine guess will arrive late CNY belum habis , i play mainly on 1080p so i guess 960 is enuf for me for now, just have to wait for upcoming fully baked maxwell's .

No offence to amd owners 290x is certainly a good buy if compared to gtx970 in terms of memory size and brute force , i have used that card keeps getting too hot until rma, bought a 970 nggredia con me 500mb of vram (terus kansel plan to buy higher res monitor), since now stuck at 1080p might just buy a 960.

yes was using reference, noise exactly as the video damn , was a good card. 970 cant fulfill my detail desires when i get a bigger monitor

no software can fix it unless nvidia disables that xtra 500mb of ram and stop access to it

Bro its like comparing a 1.2tsi engine to a 1.5l n.a engine, the 1.2tsi can pawn the 1.5l anytime. Higher c.c engine does not mean power and efficiency.

btw 960 makes good pricing for system builders like dell,hp etc , where customers just wants out of the box pc that can play games on 1080p panel. Nowdays buying pc built by them is way easier and covers longer warranty. just my 2 cents

just got my asus strix 960 oc id say im impressed with the performance btw the gpu is so cool at full load shadow of modor can get 56++ fps at very high detail. Ultra is at 970/980 region. Fan fully stops below 60 degrees
