i always set manual & stopped for all nvidia services expect nvidia display driver service.

just buy titan X & enable everything i don't think will affect that much fps since titan x got so many fps to let u guys burn.

capacitor will degraded depend ur usage, heat, voltage etc. mostly ppl wil said enough but look at those veteran users all use high quality psu that offered bigger amp on 12v rail. i really suggest u go for tier 1 psu for reliability & longer lifespan. if budget tight then tier 2. avoid anything on tier 3. always give abit head room for ur psu. every electronic stuff got lifespan one. everything back to how u stress ur gpu? how the efficiency power from ur psu supply to ur rig? the vendor told u not crap but partially true. mostly ur rig will draw 300-400w since u didn't OC just get 620w seasonic under tier 2 categories. majority users tend to overlook psu just like when u renovate new house & the remaining money spend on curtains.

can consider sf leadex gold 650w under tier 1 u can google for more information.

based with the price if 800-900 usd retail price then it will not disable anything but just lower vram compare with titan x but if around 700 then confirm is cripple GM200 chip. now nvidia wanna monopoly whole market. this time nvidia will be more careful by releasing some driver to reduce the performance.

since it will be high clock than titan x but still cripple for sure.

@Acid_RuleZz most fake benchmark is coming from linustechtips. he & luke always stated ultra/max but can't even dare to run 4xMSAA on certain games. his company bribed by vessel to earn 6 digit to pay the staff salary. i don't trust review like linustechtips is totally crap.

MSI card usually tend to run higher on temp. 80°c is high but don't worry. try update the latest bios for ur gpu. if still the same, try rma ur card since it is new.
