who ever is looking for phone protector...jump for otterbox commuter........After 2 weeks of using the commuter.....i'm really satisfied becoz i was worried about scratches. Many phone protectors cause scratches on the metal bezel, which i have found in many forums. so after a long research i decided to go for commuter...and it didn't let me down...i hope it helps.

hello, newbie here. upgraded my note 3 to note 4 after much deliberation (originally planned to wait for note 5, but i'm weak, so anyways...). my note 3 was an excellent device, never give me any problem. not even a lag. but i betrayed her and trade her in for a new note 4. right off the bat this thing gives me attitude. the ir blaster doesn't work. at all. it lags constantly, especially when i use the s-note (i take notes all the time). the video playback lags all the time (the picture froze for 2 secs while the audio plays on and then it resume nonchalantly as if nothing happens). the battery is poor (around 4 hours of normal usage) but thankfully the new fast charging adapter zap it up in no time. its N910C so i understand that it's team enxynos, and i understand that it may work differently as oppose to snapdragon, but really? do all of you have the same problem or did i unluckily bought a retarded unit? i'll probly hang on to it till the official lollipop update arrives. if things doesn't work out, i may have to let it go.

I just got a Note 4 and has been using it for a week and my hands feels really itchy wanting to root it! I rooted my Note 2 and Note 3 the first day I got them,(no knox on Note 2, and mobile odin on Note 3).

Things seem different on Note 4. I have never send a device to warranty during my smartphones days but I am wondering if there is any common defects on the  Note 4 that I should be worried about, has anyone sent a Note 4 for warranty yet? What are the reasons?

Have you tested the 4G LTE for Note 4 already? Any different with 3G connection?

For those who experience lag on recent apps button, someone from xda has finally came up with a fix. The trick is to keep the TalkBack Service disabled (turned off). I have tested on my lollipop and it works like a charm! From 2s to fraction of a second. I am not sure whether it works for everyone but worth trying

It's quite easy once you get a hang of it, but there is a con on the metal version because the metal frame will not survive a fall. Recently dropped my phone from a table height, phone is ok but the metal frame kemek and misshaped. Took me a while to get it back in shape. But there is a permanent dent on one corner... Never had this problem with the plastic version on my Note 3 which I used for a year, and dropped a few times, still looks good.

The metal version looks a lot better than the plastic version but you have to handle it with care, the frame is softer than it looks, it will protect the phone but will not protect itself, maybe I will just use until it hancur then change back to plastic version. :\
