Hi. I'm not sure where to ask this question. Seems almost everyone here do have skyrim in their library.

Currently I've been playing without a hitch with my mod on in skyrim. Suddenly after doing the escape from Markath jail dungeon and complete it, I cannot proceed to the next day. Whatever i have been doing like (sleeping, fast travel, travel by foot & etc) the game will CTD. Feel like the movie ground hog day cannot proceed to the next day. It will happen exactly 12 pm on the next day.

Anybody happen to them before? Is there any fix on this? Already spend so many hours on this save.

So you only use one save file for the character? Seriously? The most basic thing to do when playing skyrim with mod is to save as much and often as you can

Never heard of such bug tho, what mods did you use

got 3 save file and 3 auto save file. But all savefile is after the quest. So my luck run out. Try with my other character save (create new one and use the 31 days sleep mod to test) but no problem arise.

I think the bug save is on year 2 or something. So far im avoiding the major quest for the whole year to finish the side quest first.

under Skyrim modding unofficial rules
#1 ALWAYS SAVE
#2 keep a non-modded save file often in case mod cause conflict and may break save
#3 never mod and progress story in the same time
#4 throw in as much save as possible, do not overwrite

follow the above and you shouldnt have run into the issue of game breaking save

cause once save is broken, its really impossible to get back

Thx for the head up. Need to stop skyrim for time being. There is painful and regret linger in the game.

Maybe I should buy the starwars humble bundle and start my journey in space. Wonder if its great to get all since I dont have any game of the franchise.

Aye a tip if you want to uninstall a mod that have scripts like Frostfall etc recommend you open the game, go to MCM and deactivate the mod or end script, then save it. Exit to main menu and get back into the game and save one more time.

Then you can proceed to install an updated frostfall or any other files.

I've been using this method so far and no conflicts/fuk up ever rise.
