Fuuu butthurt, if you like turn base strategy like HOMM, King's Bounty is a good play. I bot all 3 at 75% off previously individually....So I am butthurt now.

Rm15 is well worth imo.

i think most digital user especially steam user know that...
its a common knowledge, no?

QUOTE(marfccy @ Jan 13 2015, 03:56 AM)
exactly

we "rent" games from Steam
*
QUOTE(Nels @ Jan 13 2015, 04:16 AM)
That won't be an issue unless Valve goes bankrupt. The point oft he article is the lack of 'physical' ownership of the games that you bought. But then again, will you compromise everything e.g by having all your games on the cloud (with all the cloud benefits) over having an actual 'physical' item ownership?

We may be renting, but not all gaming company will misuses that loopholes to make more money (pointing at Sony and its Cloud Gaming).

It may be their trick, or whatever it is all the big company is plotting by going digital. But to me it works. Just works.

I like to collect stuff too so don't get me wrong. I love having all my games being put on display on my shelves. But that doesn't mean I will stop 'moving forward' now that the technology forces us to go digital.

same here mate, same here

as long i get my games, im not too fussed on the ownership issues

physical is nice, but not all things are better in physical

Actually base on steam policy, if the account holder pass away, he/she can't pass the account to children right?
I think inside the topic, they talk about this too.

Valve will never go bankrupt. They are freaking rich due to Steam and Dota 2 alone.

hard to say, just by looking at SEA, more and more steam users are joining into the community, not to mention they are also starting to drop the attitude of pirating game. just the microtrasx in dota 2/csgo is alot of figures. adding on community market fees per transx. i just dont see it happening, not for the next 5 years at least.

on a side not rclxm9.gif got the latest csgo case drop, insta sold for RM16 sweat.gif my biggest sale, last time so kesian $0.03 cents (usd) earn bit by bit till $15, then they converted to RM50+, then spent on sales

Imagine 80 years (or so) ahead, the Valve system will perform a checking and kill all accounts that are older than 100 years old (based on your Steam account starting year) cause generally none of us will likely to live pass 100 years old. If any of us really lucky to pass 100 years old, Steam will just ask us to provide proof (IC/passport etc) to reactivate the account.

Plus haha, I don't think our kids/grandkids will care much for our Steam account though, 80 years ahead, they probably have virtual reality pr0n/gaming world (SOA/Log Horizon) etc already.
