QUOTE(Human10 @ May 22 2015, 12:06 AM) OK, I LOLed and purposely gugered to make sure it isn't right... well yeah, that is obviously a circlejerk about the current issue with nvidia gameworks..As for the HL3, yeah, I also with the side that Valve probably won't bothered to launch HL3, at least not anytime soon. They are earning big bucks the way they currently are, somemore they still try to make the dent bigger with steamOS, which aren't exactly making much impact till now. Making a game will took quite a lot of efforts but get paid with probably what they can earn day to day with steam. but jokes aside, if they keep going with this kind of moves. that could come into reality. as the consumer, the power depends on us. for example, the paid mod issue with skyrim. |

QUOTE(S4PH @ Jun 3 2015, 10:51 AM) GTX980Ti is a real beast bro its Titan X thats been slightly crippled. Maxwell is unbeatable at the moment nVidia is so competitive that when they saw that AMD could release a card that would kill the Titan X, they created their own Titan slayer |

QUOTE(Acid_RuleZz @ Jun 3 2015, 12:16 PM) It slayed Titan-X in term of price/performance only. Titan-X still the king. of course i mean market slayer. Anyway i heard about Radeon Fury VR which is a dual GPU card of Fiji XT. I hope you don't need LN2 to keep it cool. it doesnt mean anything if the card is more powerful yet no one want to buy it. |

QUOTE(cstkl1 @ Jun 7 2015, 04:17 PM) empire23 the problem is just wasnt from AMD, practically their GPU team are doing fine minus power consumption and heat.Personally what i fear the future will be one sided Maxwell is akin to time of core2duo for intel. Everybody thought amd will challenge soon. Amd better not sit on their laurels. They need to make more efficient gpu. They have lost the desktop cpu, then notebook cpu n igpu and nowhere to be found on small form factor pc/tablets/ultrabook etc. 290x was ok because alot of ppl ignored the power requirement it used. If they dont challenge nvidia in all levels this time.. I fear whats gonna happen with pascal. Maxwell is a truly incredible jump from kepler. 390x n Fury X or whatever the naming scheme better rise up. Nobody even cares or even bothers on amd cpu refreshes n updates but all know intels roadmap. Lets pray this does not happen with discreet gpu. its all go back to their main resources, customers. there are still people who stuck with "nvidia are better than ati" era. they basically delivered few new features and doesnt really shy to share with their competitors. |

QUOTE(cstkl1 @ Jun 9 2015, 06:28 PM) so ure sharing all the $you earn with ure neighbors?? i dont get the first para at all.dude as i explained before to others AMD shares thoughts. Just like most ppl share their dream of sharing their dough with everything. Actual sharing money spend on tech different story. if we stick with AMD vision We all will be playing 200fps DX11 console ports Gameworks giving us new tech that developers has no time to develop to use all that extra FPS. As for AMD sucking is basically 290x issue with tessalation. Its the key and paramount tech in DX11 and they just like ignored it. As for gameworks using it.. well its the tech for DX11. so.. totally not just "thoughts" and its way better than just keeping it to your own party instead of maybe get together for better pc gaming development but no, its amd that need to work out and maybe also need to get down to the same level of playing own "tech games". then people wonder, would there later be an "_____ exclusive games", fill in the blank with either brand*. its a small business world, with big azz market and one party tend to kinda play dirty?. damn i put money based on perfomance/value, but i still have humanity in me. everyday new people get into all this pc world, and someone somehow keep shoving up all those "nvidia better than ati" bs. power consumption is basically problem since people need to spend more, but heat?. well this isnt 90's. |

QUOTE(cstkl1 @ Jun 9 2015, 06:28 PM) so ure sharing all the $you earn with ure neighbors?? now that u add "supporting part", i know it will come to this.dude as i explained before to others AMD shares thoughts. As for gameworks using it.. well its the tech for DX11. so.. that being said. This cannot go on with Fury. Already got screwed with 390x. Just a "Enhanced Refresh". AMD users to me personally at the moment seriously fanatics. Their loyalty is akin to BN supporters. They buy cheaper, Hotter, Uses more power cards to compete with a smaller more efficient NVIDIA. Nvidia Users are really not fanatics. More like ppl who just want gaming easy. Install game, Let GE scan and optimize. Play Game. im not rooting for amd, i just tired of people keep talking shets but pretend to care. "amd need to step up their games", proceed eating nvidia marketing lies. im using R9 290, but if im building up myself a new pc as of right now with the same budget ill totally go with 970 for better performance/value. although they did tricky thing with is as of u know, but heck it deliver better performance. its the same cycle, then amd comes out with powerfull gpu..then i goes again. nvidia always on top?, yeah on some games where they purposely cripple even their own gpu. |

QUOTE(cstkl1 @ Jun 9 2015, 08:24 PM) How is it playing dirty dude. They are investing and is passionate about gaming. 290x if it had better tessalation that its suppose to have would have been slaughtering gameworks. no, totally going sideways this is my last post about this. if still got something to said u know what to do.Lets just look at uniengine. Were they paid to show 290x sux?? Its a dx11 feature. Ure buying into amd excuses. Even now their ceo few months ago proudly announced a whole new line of gpu. Now we are hearing its only two n rest are enchance refreshes. Like wtf. Fury performance. It needs to beat or atleast close to titan x 2800 score in 1080p heaven 4.0. If its still bad we already know the tessalation on it sux big time. Hbm is expensive to be early adopters. Y does amd need it now. They should concentrate on architecture and drivers or do they think amd fanatics will just love it What i am suprised is how tolerant amd supporters are. Currently they are akin to voters of BN. Ready to pounce on PKR but dont see how they are getting farked by BN. Bad driver update etc. what features?, the "crippling card features"?. it wasnt from amd. it from benchmark sites that people love to go around. about benchmark, im not paying for benchmark. so does others. the pay mainly for gaming performance which mainly does something different within benchmark result. theres alot of good benchmark, theres also alot of bad reviewers use the benchmark. no one can deny that. not even u also about the refresh, i read about it on worldwide forum. i mean lowyat is basically full of msian and maybe sg. reddit for example, they discuss about why people getting worked up about the rebrands and most of them agree other than the longer time it took to release it theres no other reason why to be mad about it. moreover as the result is not yet known. u can be mad if once it got out and still can get the same performance as nvidia current 9 series line up. go mad about it. i personally gonna go mad about it too. u can quote me on this. titan x is a total bs now with 980 ti coming out. it just killed titan x market. whoever using titan x is just finding a reason to justify their bad decision. thanks to nvidia after all how about someone just creating an excuses just to justify not buying other product?. how can u be mad, about movie that is not even release yet?. why dont people come out with the same thing about nvidia exclusives features?, "amd develop hbm for general market?, naahhh...too expensive". but wait..they need to do something to "step-up" the game..lol |

i myself are more interested in gaming benchmark.
also no more loud blower fan, the air cool is going to be 3 axial fan design. "TDP of the Radeon Fury is only 10 watts higher than the R9 290X, which is impressive given how many extra GPU cores it has." QUOTE(sai86 @ Jun 11 2015, 10:26 AM) "the Titan X is irrelevant, for all intents and purposes we should pretend it doesn't exist because nobody is buying them anymore."the 980 TI is just barely a hair slower than the T-X. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « QUOTE(antaras @ Jun 11 2015, 01:48 PM) You need to understand who buys Titan X. It's the same as Ferrari or Lambo. When you have the moolah, you do not need reasons. But hey, after all, it is the fastest single card. Even if it's only 5% faster. it was more like ferrari/lambo coming out with ferrari x/lambo x. for the 1millionwithin 2 months later they come out with ferrari ti/lambo ti with so close on spec and all but for less than 500k. the different is, with those car..people will see and u will feel. with gpu, only u can play with it, so thats when the regret comes. |

When they have that amount of money, they do not care about how much the price difference will be. In the end, they are owning the "fastest" variant available and THAT is what matters. no, they do care. if they dont, there will be no fuss about it at all either by the already titan x user and the none. it just some of them just choose not to talk about their bad choices and some do. |
