My advice is dont tailgate unless there's a clear opportunity.

Try to draft as much as possible and avoid incidents. Early braking when youre tailgating and nearing a corner.

And when getting out of pit, check your mirror. Because pit entry is AUTO ( SIMBIN vmad.gif ) driver dont hv any control when entering pit.

So far so good.
But if I hitted anyone, it must caused by another driver hitting my rear tongue.gif

Redline,
since G25 got clutch...will the engine stop when releasing clutch too early? (like real life manual cars)

no but loose the rpm early, only feel the engine want to dead if brake hard from top speed and late pressing the clutch....still practising on it.. sweat.gif

Yup, to be specific it's a simulation. So it might be a nightmare for newcomers. Unlike NFS series, GTR2 utilize real world physics to model the car.

PM redline for more info on joining.

Sure but don't use DX9 acceleration. In the settings option (start menu-->your gtr2-->settings) select DX8 or DX7 and remember to also tweak the options inside gtr2 as well.

Come and join us. All you need to do is don't purposely hit someone.

Got open house tak ajak bro. biggrin.gif

Test race or makan, I'll definitely pick makan every time.

Well, last nite was a quite lonely race for me since others were spending time in the pits for repair or in gravel. But all in all, my objective is to evaluate my race distance setup. I had a feeling that soft slicks all the way to finish is good if you adopt a smooth driving style.

There is a demo version. Just google for GTR2 demo. Your rig is good enough.

From race result, check your average speed in km/h.

Average Lap Times = Track Length (L) x 3600sec DIVIDE Average Speed km/h

Example:

Average Speed = 202.706 km/h
Track Length = 5.5 km

Average Lap Times = (5.5km x 3600sec) / 202.706 km/h
= 97.68sec
= 1min37.68sec (1:37.68)

Try calculate and see........ biggrin.gif

im using radeon 9550 too...
but have to use windowed mode, if not will crash at main menu...
do others suffer same problem with me?

im using dx8 to get good frame rates, about 40fps at medium settings 1024*768(windowed mode)
if using dx9, only get 30+- fps only...

Not like that, plus pit stops and all. I wanted to see the trends, like a histogram or something. Your calculation might not represent the information I need.

Besides, 15 laps to the end, I don't push my car at all, Jus to see what's like to drive at the minimum capability. Trying to be as smooth as possible minimizing tyre wear. So as you see, there is some data that I don't need in my calculation.
