Sprint Race

Nothing much to report in Sprint race, qualified in 4th almost 2 seconds off the pace. Had an okay start was fighting for 4 -5 position IINM. Then connection lost

Feature Race

Qualified 2nd but still 2 seconds off Voivod pace who was in pole. I planned to race the whole race without pitting. I put on Medium tyre because i did won the previous Oscerleben test race on medium before.

Had a great start from the off and slip thru voivod in the first corner. Tried to break away voivod in the opening stint but he kept the 1 second gap to me. Halfway thru the race i felt my back end felt nervous; showing signs of wear.

Redline managed to pass voivod and immediately closing on to my tail. We did touch at Shell kurve (i think) and Alan slip by to take the lead. A few corner later at the straight just before the 3 left turn my rear right launched into the air... and went wide and redline and voivod slip thru.

Then condition got worse as i went wide everywhere and Izznatta pass me and there i stay till the end of the race.

and a little comment on the connection lost problem. I think the only solution right now is everybody buys original so that Redline can utilise his server for the game. Or, we can setup 2 league :

i. GT Class League ; Using originals, up to 20 players, using GT/GT2 cars, only clucth aids on.

ii. NGT Class League ; max 8 players, using hamachi, only steering, auto gear and clucth aids on.

I want to propose an additional rule.

For all races from now on, that Ambi Pur car must start from last position and add 100 kg ballast weight

Nanti ade org batuk bila sebut nak beli original....

I'm definately buy the ori & use dedicated server to run max 24players online. Let's form the bulk order since the cost in US is only USD19.90 (Local market selling ~ RM139 available mid Oct).

Last night found a bug, setting of 2x tyre wear & 2x fuel usage does not work in multiplayer but work in single player.

Dey apara.... try it first... go easy on throttle raikonen, learn the track & watch others doing their hotlap. When to drop, when to brake & when to push...

Memorised track no problem...but sometimes at top gear when braking...so much
understeer

need good setup I guess.
Some say less rear wing might do it.

I guess what makes a difference is how fast (slowly to not understeer) you exited the
corner.

Ask Evo or Soze (Ferari taiko) for their setup. Different car got different character & center graviti. Both F550 & F575 is about the same spec ...

Wei, Raikonnen...don't give up laa. You can always discuss setup with us. I personally have no problem sharing my setup with others. As long as we can have good clean gentleman's race.

Everybody has to start somewhere..betul tak?? Trust me..you will be there in no time.

Only three (3) racers in the end?
Why?

And my game crashed when I was viewing the vcr...why?

2nd test race.

Seems that Ferrari 575 has better acceleration but not quite good underbraking.
But the acceleration were fast.
Yellow Saleen has better underbraking and good in corners but not so good in
acceleration.

The Lister quite an easy car to handle, very hard to make it spin - with the right setup (and driving) should be competitive with the rest more hp cars

went back to rfactor GP2 car last night - totally messed up the setup, no grip at all, the car was simply undriveable

The others got disconnected....connection lost to server. But i think we have solve it by running dedicated server...max 24 drivers but due to limitation of hamachi...only 16 drivers will be race together.

Maybe try lowering your graphic setting a bit or run systembooster to improve your PC performance. Your crash could be cache problems.


what happen to the setup given earlier...i think last test race u manage to bring down from 1:35 to 1:33 using my setup right? RonMD got no problem driving with my setup. i'll try to make it in the next round.....
