Almost every other country has seen a property boom during Covid due to low interest rates and a huge demand for space. If property can’t make it then It’s game over. The oversupply has a more drastic domino effect than thought.

Do these master plan townships still work? Between this one, TRX, 118, Bandar Malaysia on top of all the existing structures - I just wonder if it’s truly feasible for an ailing economy with a small population. We’re not playing catch-up with infrastructure like places such as Vietnam, Cambodia etc so it’s a big question.

That comment was a while ago. There’s a bit more optimism in the air. As long as the country remains committed to being open, competitive and moderate then things will improve.
