maybe a good move without a mall
competition is fierce, how to explain shareholder with low ROI
rather dispose property unit and cash out.
Sunway has numbers of mall on hand now, i guess they are tight due to weak market sentiment.

I personal think that they should remove the retail office instead of Mall... look at Strands, Cascade and
Garden office a lot of empty retail shop yet to be occupied... Sunway have good experience in managing big mall
like Sunway Pyramid...so I stilll prefer them to build a Mall in KD but must be unique and different with TG Mall...

everyone prefer mall, no doubt. build is easy, manage is the challenging part
retail office cash out could be good idea for developer in terms business point of view and put in consideration fo current economy sentiment too.

wthr they launch mall, retail strata or office all won't do well.. the whole area is FLUSHED with offices & empty retail lots.. even the MRT i doubt it would help the office/premium retail very much as dsara rental n occupancy is v low now.. think SME's would locate here but not MNCs in strata offices unless its mitra tower or any similar option rclxm9.gif rclxm9.gif

Upon completion of medical centre which is under construction, next on the list will be on the remaining 11.5 acres earmarked for mixed development.

Expecting to see some high rise resi component and if timing stars are aligned, it could potentially competing with nearby future developments (The Lines @ Mutiara Damansara & Tropicana's recently land purchase adjacent to Tropicana Gardens mall).

Which of these 3 developments that could be under your radar?
