Why do we need to charge the new batt for 8 hours while the user manual clearly stated if the batt is full the batt bar indicator will stop running??? (the bar stop running after 1.5 hours of charge)

But I'm here to voice out something... Different AP company has different price, don't assume everything is the same.

So, should I or should I not wait for the batt to charge for 8 hours? I can see the batt bar is stop moving dy. Very eager to try my new phone but afraid will spoil the batt. The shop ppl asked me to charged for 8 hours on 1st charge. Advice guy

^ 8 hours is a stupid joke. Regardless of wat model, they will ask u charge for 8 hour.

if any N95 user can get HSDPA via celcom 3G or Maxis, please comment on download rate performance. May try www.dslreports/mspeed for assessment.

And oh, for any Celcom Minutes users, u can activate ur Celcom 3G (the D99 package) and terminate it ANYTIME if u don't like the service. No contract is bonded for using Celcom 3G. Pls go to any Celcom branch to confirm this and if it's still valid just activate ur 3G.

Edited : I'm offering my 3G Sim Card for u (i mean... us) to try the 3G service on ur N95. Anybody interested, PM me. If HSDPA is OK, I might join the N95 club.

man, I wish I can get this phone soon...but the price tag here all above NZD1.6k X2.5 = >RM4K and imported set somemore (which warranty is worst than AP set)

I noticed that the 3G sign is not display on my N95, i m using the Dual Mode Network setting dy, my N80 is displaying 3G but N95 is not, anyone facing this?

my area no 3g yet so didnt see any 3g icon anywhere.. but my Motorola E1000 got a 2.5G icon..

actually dunno why, its recommended to charge 8 hours to reach the battery maximum charge to perform better. Should be something like this.

No problem with me. Got 3g sign. Only web browser didnt work now. Need to go to Celcom.

Nope, mine N95 and N80 still displaying 3G sight maybe something wrong with your sim card.....Please check with the telco or just go back with factory setting.

BTW anyone got the GPS up and working for the KL maps?

yea i got it working . I used Maps instead of the Asia Maps. Not bad but always gets DCed when going under a flyover . Its not that smooth too , like 2 sec / update .

^ Btw, this GPS using normal signal or 3g/wap ?
