Morning guys. I have a few questions to ask in regards to upgrading my 'rig'.

I have a Dell XPS 8000 fresh from Dell since 2009. Nothing has been changed yet but I am planning to do a little upgrade cause I bought GTA V from steam without even thinking about my little rig *oops*.

Specs are as followed.
Intel Core i5 - 750
2 x 2GB 1066Mhz RAM
Nvidia GTS 240 1GB DDR3
P55 Chipset

I'm not a tech guy, I mean in depth wise, so I need some help from the sifu(s) here!

1. Can I run GTA V in the lowest resolution without upgrading?

2. If i was to add some RAM to my pc, is the Kingston 1333 2GB a good buy? I can't find any 1066 anymore . I've read on some forum that If you mix 1066 and 1333, it will automatically underclock the 1333 to run the same speed as the 1066 right? OR, I should remove my existing RAM cards and go for 2 x 4GB 1333Mhz?

3. If Im not happy with the resolution (provided that I already have 8GB of RAM), Whats a decent and cheap GPU recommendation? RM 350+-

Oh my.. I just checked on 'can i run it' app and it tells me that my cpu meet the minimum requirement for GTA V. Shit.. The app lied to me?

Regarding to number 2, is it better to buy 2 more 2gb or remove all of my existing ram and put 2 x 4gb?

- Add 2 x 2gb 1333 RAM
- Change my current GPU to GTX 750.

Oh one question, which model to take for the GTA 750? So many brands and models.

And I saw another GPU which is the Sapphire R7 240 boost which has 4GB DDR3 VRAM. Is this better since it has a higher RAM? Need help clarifying.

planing to get a new HDD for secondary storage soon as i'm still sticking with old chunks of <= 500gb HDDs for combination of game and movie files.

1st SATA III - 120GB Kingston SSDNow (again not sure which variant but I remember buying together with @terence_nwb on the same model.    I'm already satisfied with the performance for OS booting and running casual stuff so not planning to change unless rosak)

All SATA II - 240GB + 160GB + 80GB old drives.

I'm deciding between Seagate SSHD/WD Black or Seagate's 5400RPM/WD Blue drives, targeting 2TBs for size. The main concern is does the the RPM actually matter on game loading speed or any graphic processing working with the GPU? I've tried putting Dota 2 in my SSD and obviously it will load faster than putting it on 5400RPM HDD. But how does 7200RPM & 5400RPM differ?

This will definitely work with my 350W PSU without any issues right?

Whats the difference between GTX 750 & GTX 750 OC? Does it have obvious difference? If not I would prefer to buy the cheaper one.

I found an Asus GTX 750 for only RM425. Im a bit afraid to buy cause sifu(s) here mentioned that it will be a bit expensive for Asus, Gigabyte & MSI cards and I've cross referenced with some of the price list and there are like average 500+. Any thoughts? It a small PC shop in Digital Mall, section 14. And they are selling 1333Mhz RAM for 79 per piece.

Im faced with problem running Dota2 with 1920 x 1080 resolution.

It can support up to 1600 x 1040 only. Beyond that resolution 1700x1000 and 1920 x 1080, the graphics looks not so nice. (at 16:9 aspect ratio). But when i play 4:3 the graphics is OK but the screen is not full screen.
Is it because of graphic cards problem? Sorry, i'm quite noob with computer stuffs...

I also have a spare GV-N630-2GI. ( is this one better than the above?)
Does any of those 2 graphics card help to support 1920 x 1080?
