To ALL: OCBC will be imposing a fee on their Premier Banking Customers if their AUM falls below RM300K. WTF, what service they provide to justify the "fee". Anyway, I have no money now with OCBC, so I guess I don't need the Premier Banking status, actually I have closed my CASA accounts with them so I don't get any paper statements to file up, haha

Hi Sir,

Will they be sending a notice if they are imposing fees? When will this take effect?

I don't have a savings or current with them. Only FD. Wonder how are they going to deduct my money.

Can I call the call center to cancel the Premier Banking status?

Hi Guys,

Can I use personal cheque for FD deposit? Will I get the certs on the same day if use personal cheque?

Or would it be better to get a banker's cheque, i think it's slightly more expensive than personal cheque (RM0.50 compare to RM2/RM5).

Thanks.
