QUOTE(aeiou228 @ May 19 2015, 12:03 PM) Malaysian Islamic Banking has applied a new rule recently, making the Mudharabah accounts into real investment accounts, means that they are neither profit nor capital guaranteed under the new rules. But, the banks *promise* to invest your fund with minimum risk, generating higher profit than principal accounts |

QUOTE(nexona88 @ May 31 2015, 05:05 PM) really not keen to have tis Bundle ASNB fund with FD thingy.. but ASG is cousin of the famous ASB, which provides constant annual return of 6% and above for past 10 years, which is about as good as EPFFD should juz be pure FD.. don't mix with others investments products juz my opinion |

QUOTE(BoomChaCha @ Jun 3 2015, 07:40 PM) I just withdrew my HSBC FD at 5% for 3 months tenure, and also closed Advance current account For my case, i pledged my 30k FD for a HSBC advance credit card, hopefully will get another RM150 cash back by taking their BT promotion. at the same time this afternoon. My 3 FDs with HSBC: (1) A ----> RM 30K (2) B ----->RM 30K (3) A + B ----> RM 30K My total net profit is RM 1144.17 for 3 FDs, after deduct RM 5.83 (GST included banker's check. I asked the HSBC staff about your question, here is the answer: To skip paying the RM 10 management monthly fee for HSBC Advance current account, we have to place a minimum FD deposit of RM 30K. If place FD less than RM 30K, HSBC Advance account will charge RM 10 for each month. And be aware that we can only withdraw the FD one day after the FD maturity date; and FD will only be effective after the check is cleared, so we will lose at least 3 days interest. But for my case, I brought cash to HSBC |
