AmBank is another one that is slow. I am happy that SCB PB centre offered to mail FD cert to me.
The new to bank is for the Islamic FD promo. Conventional one no requirement on that. But even the Islamic one, current customer can still request for approval. My RM told me just request for that. But since conventional one is so simple, I just placed for it again on last Monday. 

For 3 mth, UOB 3.95%, CIMB 4%. I chose AmBank due to the convenience at that time.

Give u excuse to see leng lui in AmBank, if any.

hi .. newbie here..so as i always busy on working, i prefer efixed deposit service which let u manage ur saving and fixed deposit together. so far, maybank and cimb has excellent efixed deposit (cimb even count your interest everyday for u to see how much u earn). my questions are, anyone can tell me which bank has efixed deposit ? efixed deposit cannot enjoy fixed deposit promo ? (last time cimb bank when got promo even 1 month can get 3.25% interest and is applicable for efixed deposit too) does affin bank have efixed deposit ? because a lot of fd promo needs you to go bank to deposit which is troublesome. and any one knows which is the bank with highest efixed deposit now ? thanks in advance

I took up RHB UT/FD bundle more as I already have plan to top up the UT. As asset allocation strategy. Not so much of the 7.8% FD. The UT have to hold >3 years. Anyway I have UT which is already >10 years holding.

Ocbc has the following offer and seems nobody reported this, or i miss out?

first 6 months 4%,  second 6 months 4.4%. effective is slightly more than 4.2% because, the first 6 months interest is added on to the principal.

say principal is P,
after 6 months, it is P plus 6 months interest roll over with 4.4% interest

i took one of their promo before and placed fd with ocbc
the trolly just reached me some time ago
