If you think of buying a weight gainer, stop going to gym immediately. Stop listening to your "bros", and go study natural bodybuilding for at-least 1 month.

LOL, you should also stop taking your regular Whey Protein supplement and go fully Natural Food for life rclxms.gif

Using your reasoning, you also don't need whey to gain muscle, just protein surplus from natural food.

So those who always against hard gainers for taking weight gainers supplements, should also follow their own advice and stop taking protein supplements and instead get their protein from natural food. smile.gif

Note :- I am just making the above statement in sarcasm to make a point. I am not against taking supplements. I myself have taken both Weight Gainers and Whey Protein Supplements depending on my needs at that particular time.

There is a big difference between someone who takes mass gainers and whey protein. Try ask the mass gainer guy what is TDEE and check his phone for MyFitnessPal. A properly educate natural almost never buys mass gainers.

Of course there's a difference.

That's because their needs are different. So they take according to their needs.

1) A skinny/underweight guy who is already eating regular meals and still can't gain weight will turn to Weight Gainers for extra calories + some protein. His priority is to gain weight first.

2) Same reason, a body Builder who can't get sufficient Protein from eating Natural Food will turn to taking Protein Supplements.

Both are taking supplements to aid and speed up their objectives, to each his own. No need to always shoot people down just because they want to take Weight Gainers for their own reasons and is different from yours.

Armesh, for your info both Weight Gainers and Protein Supplements are made by the same companies.

Generally these companies will label as such :-

High Protein + low Carbs + extras= labelled as Protein Supplement
High Carbs + some protein + extras = labelled as Weight Gainers

They can even cheat and label a Weight Gainer as Protein Supplement, you never know. The fact is if you are saying Weight Gainers are not natural, then you are also saying Protein Supplements are also not natural.

So practice what you preach, and stop taking Whey protein supplements and just take natural food for your natural needs biggrin.gif

No such thing. F***ing guarantee that "skinny guy" phone no MyFitnessPal

Maybe 1 in a million who got some very special metabolic problem? Maybe...

Then why don't you stop taking Whey Protein and eat natural food for your protein source smile.gif . Apply your own theory, I am sure you don't need the help of Whey supplement to gain muscle. Get all your protein from natural food alone.

No such thing, dude. Both can get from natural food.

1. "Bros" turn to weight gainer because they believe the supplement can build mass. As the product says "Mass Gainer". In chinese, they call it "Grow meat/muscle protein".

Weight gain = Calorie surplus
Cut = Calorie deficit

1. Who is to say/guess that "Bros" turn to Weight Gainer because they mistakenly think it grows muscle Mass. Can you read their mind? We are talking about underweight guys here. Isn't it more reasonable to think that they want to take Weight Gainer just to Gain Weight?

2. "Weight Gain - Calorie surplus". Isn't that the point I was making all along.

Go back and read my previous posts smile.gif . You don't understand the point I was making, because I used a lot of sarcasm in reply to Armesh's reasoning. Whenever someone asks about Weight Gainers, he just shoots them down without finding out what they require it for.

mass gainer is made from low quality protein (which contains whey protein concentrate) + shit load of sugar. why not make your own? the low quality protein is what cause you to have gas. not to mention weight gainer is expensive as hell, not worth the money.
*
Lots of so called Whey Protein supplement have whey Concentrate added too. Go figure.

Because there's no need to know. 99% people take it cause they do not know anything about basic bodybuilding nutrition.

Anyone who have basic BB education will not buy a mass gainer... let alone make threads on asking people to recommend him mass gainers. People who buy mass gainers say things like "Berries where got calories" or "Apple got calorie meh?". They have absolute zero education and full of bro-science. That's why i ask them educate themselves and change their info source instead.

Talking Co*k again. The furthest thing on a 52kg skinny ectomorph's mind is trying to look like Arnold because he knows the reality. He just wants to take Weight Gainer to gain some weight. Not everyone wants to be a wannabe Bodybuilder like you. Always assuming you know what's on people's mind.

You are just a 60+ kg at 175cm but talk very big as if a professional Bodybuilder. My advice to you, just give up your grandeur illusion and practice what you preach and stop taking Whey supplements. Just taking Whey alone and exercising your mouth won't make you anyway near a Bodybuilder smile.gif

I've used mass gainers to my benefit before because, as with all supplements, they are convenient. There's more than one way to skin a cat and mass gainers are simply just another means to an end. It's not as if they're testosterone "boosters", which actually are useless.

Don't misinterpret this as me saying to disregard basic nutritional knowledge or anything of the sort, because that is not what I'm saying.

At least someone understand what I have been saying all along, Each type of supplement as it's own purpose at different times for different people.

After all it's just a supplement, an aid, not like is is supposed to replace a healthy natural meal.

You can take it in between meals, before bed, basically any time of day. It Just takes a minute to prepare. After all a skinny guy needs 5 or 6 meals/snacks a day to get his calories for gaining weight, how to expect him to prepare or look for natural food all the time.

It's ok smile.gif . Not my intention to make enemies with any one here. Just want him to have a more balanced perspective that's all.

Apologies to TS for hijacking this thread with arguments , but it was a necessary evil so that future threads about Weight Gainers or any other supplements are answered with a less harsh or confrontational attitude.

Peace smile.gif
