1. duralumin has a tendency to bend ultra easily. double up your bumpers. FRP or carbon; let your budget speak.
2. those rubber o-rings, throw them far away to another galaxy.
3. I see you got something underneath your FRP popsicles brakes. WHAT IS IT blink.gif

Seems like my car is headed towards some kind of speed setup. We'll wait and see how it goes la LOL.

Would recommend you to know which format to begin playing first

1. Semi speed
Expensive initially, not bad in the long run

2. Speed
Cheap initially, expensive in the long run

I prefer to
Play semi speed, semi tech, lane change for more challenge, full speed seems less challenging imo.
*
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA YOU SURE, BRO?
have you played speed before?

HAHAHA don so bad bro, i told u IMO, ur opinion could differ from mine. So don take it so seriously BRO biggrin.gif  biggrin.gif  biggrin.gif  biggrin.gif

I just prefer obstacles, instead of speed/Italian track. oh btw i just playing this for fun, not going to join any tournament, so it doesnt matter to me icon_rolleyes.gif  icon_rolleyes.gif  icon_rolleyes.gif  icon_rolleyes.gif
*
no no no. dont get me wrong. I didn't take it personally la wink.gif
just that in my opinion (some one whom actually played speed before), speed is really really difficult. rclxub.gif

1. you need to have the best motor tuning skills
2. your battery has to be perfect (for open battery races). not just talking about discharge, charging, and break in. but I'm also talking about battery's performance (consistency), temperature (maintaining 1.58V at a decent temperature) etc.
3. perfect wheelshaft. the slightest crook in a wheel shaft is a no go
4. rims must not wiggle.
5. smooth 620's all round
6. smooth 830's
7. bearing spacers must be fresh. or at least allow bearings to rotate smoothly
8. chassis cutting skills (if you choose to)
9. chassis must also be good and sturdy. old flexy chassis is a no-go too

shall I continue the list?

hope you get the idea on how difficult speed actually is. track may not be an obstacle, but your skills itself is the obstacle in speed. speed is art.

Ok Sifu Thx for ur enlightenment. Seems like everything needs to be perfect to achieve top speed.

Sorry for my noobish comment. sad.gif
For speed what rear bearing do you use ?
Coz I'm using 13 bearing for all rounder
*
1. I'm no sifu.
2. It's alright. I too thought speed was easy initially. Till I actually played it myself. Fuhhhhhh kenyang perut makan debu cry.gif
3. Use 830's and 620's

what is a good criteria motor or after break in motor that i must achieve.

achieve screeching sound ?
less vibration ?
*
NO COMMENT. hahahaha!!
I tuned motors that has achieved really screaming high pitch before, but bila letak dalam kereta Redza (Tamiya Msia), tak laju pun.
last last, Redza took his old MachDash, applied some oil, pump it a bit. VROOOOM! terus dapat parking.

my point is, that ENDING HIGH PITCH SOUND doesn't guarantee much.

buying motor also depending on luck
sometimes out of packet, nyet nyet a bit, then can fly already
sometimes no matter how many times you nyet, the motor just don't want to perform

everything also like that lah actually.
shafts: not all shafts come straight out of the pack
bearing : not all bearings are smooth out of the pack
chassis : manufacturing defect like a boss

tyre tu mudah kembang. I can do it bro. at a fee of course.
warned you once and I'm gonna warn you again, a trimmed tyre of that version have a short lifespan.

but if you dont care and still want it trimmed, I can do it for you. 26mm is the lowest I can go.
